We might just bring back Gary again. I think he'll have a better year with Suggs and Bane in the rotation. Gary was just too similar to KCP.

as expected... not sure how we're going to get better production than what CoJo gave us for under 4 mil... and no Cole... the PG position is thin AF.

Likely the first of many CBA maneuvers. Won't be surprised to see them return.

I wouldn't mind getting Harris back.

I don't think anyone on that bench is safe from being moved right now...

Point guards that we are likely able to acquire with the vet. min.

Dante Exum
D’Anthony Melton
Monte Morris
Malcolm Brogdon

Anyone else would probably require more than the MLE (but crazier things have happened).

I read somewhere that the Magic can’t trade #25 until after they select it.
So if Clayton goes sooner, the Magic might already have a trade in place for him.

I don't see a market for Tyus Jones. I think we could get him on the cheap. But some of your options aren't bad either.

A trade to get off Dell’s long term contract and get a bench sniper.
Magic get Grayson Allen

Suns get WCJ and Jett.

Suns get a starting center and take a flyer on a young guy who needs a new start.

Magic get one of the best shooters in the league who has a career 3pt % of 40%. The last 2 years he has been 43 and 46%. So an absolute weapon of left open.

Bane/Black
Suggs/Allen
Franz/TDS
Paolo/Isaac
Goga/Moe
Would be a really solid 10 man rotation with lots of lineup flexibility. You could use the 25th pick on one of the centers in the draft to provide depth just in case Moe isn’t ready for the start of the regular season. I really believe Black is going to take a big leap this year and prove to be a reliable 6th man.

Can anyone tell me why the Stepian rule not kick in... In the 2025 and 2026 picks? Is it cuz we had the Denver pick as well. Just making sure.

Cuz when I saw the #16.... I assumed the 2026 pick was going to be kept and we were losing the 2027, 2029, and 2031. Lol

yes, it's because we still have a 1st this year (Denver's).

What about before Banchero signs extension

Banchero + WCJ + JI
for
a player worth and making the max (Luka, Giannis)

Magic realize internally that Banchero has peaked and is turnover prone and is too similar to Franz, and also that the contracts of WCJ and JI are hurting the team’s future, so they make another blockbuster trade.

D’Anthony Melton or brogdon on min vet contracts would be HUGE steals
Suggs, Tyus, Jase
Bane, AB, Jett
Franz, TDS,
P5, JI, Panda
Wcj, Goga, Moe

I’d do this for Luka, not for Giannis. Giannis creates a whole lot of problems to solve and would require your system to revolve around him. Luka is similar, but he can flat out shoot from anywhere.
