A nice puff piece.

But Cowley wrote it, so I don't know whether to believe it or not? How does it work again?

Kid just needs to stay healthy and work on some fundamentals this offseason and his 3 ball.

This report in Buz is the most important thing happening for the Bulls this summer. If he is becoming dominant and takes a huge leap we have e a completely different team and plan for building.

Ayo says Giannis with the way he plays with muscle. Giannis never had a 3 ball either.

Can’t wait to see what Buz becomes.

I am guarded. Can we really trust Ayo, a teammate and friend, to be objective (vs. a cheerleader)?

I will be curious if Matas actually plays summer league. I'm rooting hard for him not to. He's shown enough and the competition level is so weak, there's more risk than reward.

Based on what one would traditionally expect to see he’ll play in some early games, everything will be centered around him, and then he’ll hang it up. And I’m totally good with that.

Holy crap summer offseason workout hype coming in hot with Matas comparisons to Giannis?!

I love the kid but can we pump the brakes a bit?

Still remember all those Pat offseason articles of him dominating runs against NBA guys. Glad Matas is already getting after it with workouts but this article means nothing. Unless we get some empty gym workout footage of him dribbling around cones then now we're talking!

Good watch. I think we will see alot more downhill Buz with added muscle. His handle is already there.

Agreed, but we've never seen Pat play with the motor Buzelis has with any resemblance of consistency. Buzelis actually imposes his talent on the game and reacts fairly well, especially for a rookie.

Motor or handle.

If Pat had either he’d be a plus starter.
If he had both he’d be an all star

If he played with half the confidence of Denzel Valentine, he's an all-star.

That was pretty good I think they can use more like JJJ. IMO Chicago has Josh who already does this but inverted offenses generally excite me.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

He has a long ways to go! It's going to take a him few years, and that's fine and probably the best way to be honest. He shouldn't be bulking up too quickly.
Why so serious?

I actually think he looks exactly same as he looked in last month of season.

Matas just needs NBA grown man strength. He doesn't need to bulk up and its good he already said he wont.

Greek freek has 7’5” wingspan, 6’11 height, palms the ball like a grape fruit, standing reach over 9’…Matas has none of that…

I think what should be said is that Giannis wasn't "Giannis" until like year 4. He started to turn into that in year 3. Giannis also grew taller too.

Comparisons for players are always apples and oranges. Its never exact. But you can understand them.

Its like people saying Donovan Michell is like D-Wade. They aren't the same but you get the comparisons.
