Trent isnt a good comp. Kpj is a one of one situation. I wont be shocked by anything, only very surprised if he doesn't get more than the BAE.

- AJ Green & Ryan Rollins coming to Greece to work out w/ Giannis
- Kuz in the lab early. Kris didn't see him there all last season. So he's not having too much fun this time.
- Thinks the writing's on the wall for Giannis returning w/ the recent community work too.

And I want Daddario and Sweeney to make a sandwich out of me, doesn't mean it's going to happen.

If true, im assuming kpj's agent is starting negotiations at that price.. and judging by Hollinger's analysis, its not too far off. The agents probably use a similar tool to whatever Hollinger uses.

the problem, for us, is only Brooklyn can really pay him that... If they aren't interested in Brooklyn then he should just be asking for the full mle. So if Brooklyn is in play we might be in trouble. Would Brooklyn pay him in part to make Giannis's life in Milwaukee that much more difficult, still dreaming of prying him away? Idk

Can’t blame KPJ for trying to reclaim what he had prior to his legal problems but it’s hard to justify making that a reality after only 30 some games or whatever it was in Milwaukee.

Rather astounding that KPJ would feel like he’s gone from having Marjon Beauchamp value to a long term bag in such a short period of time.

You can't blame a boy for trying. As for Hollinger's part, he's a computer. Real people factor in things like off the court issues, the terrible 1st 2/3 of the season, that the bump was during the dog days, then that he dropped back down in the playoffs, & that he was in a bench/limited minutes role.

It was a mistake for us pre-achilles injury too. He's got to take that to heart and have that motivate him to at least try on d & not mope on the ball when he comes back. Could make him more of a winning player actually, as a role guy. Then he could restructure w/ a team friendly deal.

I really like that San Antonio and OKC are right next to each other in the draft.

I think those are the teams that would value our ‘31 1st the most, and with the reports that San Antonio wants long term assets to help with the pursuit of a star down the road, I think there’s a growing likelihood.

‘31 for 14 + 38
‘31 for 15 + 24

I'm pretty optimistic about Rollins next year. Think getting his shoulder fixed a few weeks ago + another year of development is gonna make him a pretty useful player next year, really hope we can get him on a cheap-ish multi year deal. Keep forgetting he's still only 22.

wish i could talk to him and get his state of mind. considering i dont know i dont have a take on this

if somehow he was already talking about opting out and a restructure and taking less to try and recrut and help giannis win another one....then damn straight. he becomes a huge asset and you wait this injury out.

if he isnt resetting his brain and communicating bigtime thats his mentality and prioritizing winning then you punt him asap

The mistake wasn't trading for him, it was a good value deal. The mistake was not cashing him in when it was obvious how little he cared about anything but himself.

If we had dealt him at the deadline for a decent package, we might be still playing.

This is not from KPJ, it's Hollingers prognostication.

Always remember, according to the media, the Bucks can't afford any of our own players, but they're also worth nothing in trade.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
