A Kevin Durant deal is very close. Phoenix continues to work with multiple teams to get the deal they want and I expect it will happen today or tomorrow

The Suns are “very close” to trading Kevin Durant, reports John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 (via Twitter).

Phoenix’s front office is in discussions with “multiple teams” to find a trade it likes, according to Gambadoro, who expects the deal to be completed on Sunday or Monday.

Trade talks involving Durant first started prior to the February deadline, with the 36-year-old star reportedly caught off guard at the time. The Suns have been working with two-time Finals MVP to find a deal this offseason, but are said to be underwhelmed by the offers they’ve received to this point, in part because Durant is reportedly only willing to sign an extension — he’s on an expiring $54.7MM contract — with three teams.

Can Suns fans chime in on how reliable this guy is? I have a fuzzy memory of a Suns fan saying this guy is not to be trusted, essentially a salesperson for their front office?

I feel like everyone believes it's gonna be Houston or San Antonio but my gut tells me it'll be some team no one saw coming.

Yeah I'm hoping a surprise team pops up and lands him.

Feels like more teams out East should be interested especially with Boston not having Tatum next season. The East is wide open.

Probably Miami. Would like to see him in Houston or San Antonio but they are not going over a threshold to get him (rightfully so).

He's okay but I don't personally consider him all that reliable. I have reservations about believing anything he says for the most part.

It is a fair deal. It is better than I as a spurs fan would give up for him.

I would have been vassell, Barnes, the two busts at pg and shooting guard( no I am not going to bother to say their names) and the 14th pick.

The fact the best thing you can say about Jalen Green is that the Rockets wasted a #2 pick on him makes my point for me.
