Rockets won. Eliminated in 1st round and got a guy who addresses a weakness despite being at the end of his career. If it doesn't work they still keep super valuable picks. They look good for present and future. Suns on the other hand still look bad for present and future after the trade. Mat should look in the mirror and see a donkey there.

No

This a great because I really think that Book and him can work pretty well together.

Jalen Green is different from Beal. He is young, athletic and plays with passion. Beal lost all of that.

He is exciting. Can he play point?

He is just 23 years old and he needs to work in intangibles/ defense but the upside is there.

Yeah but not next to Booker...

Look at Beal.... used to be 30ppg... tried to be a defensive SG to fit in and got blamed by fans.

Green is even less confident than Beal so he would suffer if he has weak voice in the locker room as a 23 year old.

How about BBIQ ? Or are we gonna watch same **** offense again ?

Jalen Green and BBIQ don't belong in the same sentence.

That's what I fear. Not good. Not good at all. Lessons not learned.

I actually don't dislike Jalen Green at all. I think he's about the best player the Suns could have gotten for KD. He hasn't missed a game the last two seasons and averaged 20 points (although on terrible FG%).
Dillon Brooks could help bring that toughness and leadership that KD never had.

The biggest concern is obviously getting players that share the same position with players that Suns already have in Booker in and Dunn. Will have to wait and see what comes next for the team.

The Phoenix Suns turned 4 unprotected firsts, 1 unprotected swap, Mikal Bridges, Cameron Johnson & Jae Crowder into...Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the 10th pick in this year's draft and 5 seconds. The dumb owner at full force

The glass half full view on Green is his defensive advanced stats have improved every year. Now you'd like to see that same progression on O but you really haven't. There's still a lot of untapped potential but who knows if he reaches even some of it.

I see us moving Brooks to a contender either at the deadline or next summer when he's an expiring. The redundancy with Green, Booker, and Beal is frustrating as it will force Book back to Point Book (probably running Beal off the bench unless we can somehow send convince him to leave and dump these 5 2nds to a team to take him).

Personally I would use them to draft and stash European prospects and bring them over based on needs basis. Or heck form a European bench, Spurs and Popovic may actually start respecting Suns then.

He's going to be a scoring point guard.

Don't forget turned Ayton and Toumani to Grayson Allen and Nick Richards.

Suns sold Ayton and Toumani for the worst price imaginable and now sold KD for 70 cents to the dollar.

Jalen Green is a slasher, he attacks the rim. He needs to work on hitting mid-range jumpers, that is his weakness offensively. He'll have to work on that shot throughout his career anyway as his athleticism will eventually go away. He is a fairly predictable player at this point in his career which is why he was easily exploited in the Warriors series.
