This for me would address A LOT of the biggest needs the Wolves have. Both Lonzo and Zion love to push the pace, love to put pressure on the rim, both are great passers and Rudy would finally have someone to throw him lobs.

Then if Fears is really falling that hard at #17 that'd be a homerun IMO.

Zion is an injury waiting to happen. I'd stay far away no matter how good he is.

Alright hear me out. It's summer school and the boredom is fierce. Milwaukee uses this year as a bridge year to contend AND rebuild. Get a haul for Giannis. Nets have a ton of picks, and decide to move a couple of them to sign Randle (they pick Julius over Beal). We give up everything we can to build around Ant/Jaden/Giannis, then monopolize free agency with a lot of freed up money and ring chasers (PG/PF/C).

I know, that may be. Still, Milwaukee is losing with Giannis and I hear they may shake things up. They get 2 starters With Gobert and Randle. Those salaries match up pretty well. I wouldn't throw in too much more. They either do it or they don't. We traded KG for chit so never say never. Gobert and Randle is a big haul for them.

Wow! That's tough because I love Jaden who is on the verge of stardom. I do think I'd do it though. Giannis is the perfect fit here. Giannis could put us over the top. We could acquire a big like Sorber to take Rudy's spot. Even Kalkbrenner at #31 would do. Raynaud?

Great idea! I would do that in a heartbeat. I don't think Chicago does. We'd have to throw in someone else.

I really think the Wolves are going with Dilly and Conley this year at PG. I like Ball though regardless of injury history.

Taking back salary is really hard given the matching rules for players like NAW getting a greater than 20% raise. It's why the Atlanta thing is so interesting as they have a $25M trade exception from the Murray trade. They could send us a pick and easily fit him into that exception.

he's the top "realistic" guard for me

he just really hasn't had a chance to be on a good team

drafted by post-Lebron rebuilding Cavs, got hurt the year they got Mobley/Lauri and were turning the corner, then was traded for D Mitchell

his competitiveness is something that Jim Petersen would always point out on tv broadcast

friends with ANT as they are both from Atlanta area

he's not really a "PG" in terms of passing and running an offense, and is going to be limited defensively like most "PG" sized players
