The kid at Utility Sports dangled the idea of Brooklyn taking on Beal's contract for Phoenix' #10, which is at least interesting.

Beal has a no-trade clause and would need to agree. Maybe he does? Not sure why though

Very surprised if a trade happens again before the draft. A lot of trades probably contingent on who is available in the draft at certain picks. Expect trades during the draft

I know he's done that before but I don't think that holds true this year. So I would be mildly surprised. But by the same token I would be really annoyed if he did it again. We don't need more second round picks.

Like one poster said, if there's demand for Simons, the Blazers wouldn't have settled for Jrue Holiday.

I think Simons is Brad's science project, so to speak, for this season.

It's a win-win situation.

Simons gets a chance to prove himself and the Cs can just trade him at deadline.

Worst case scenario is his contract expires at the end of the season.
