Talis Soulhac will be able to enter the draft if he wants and I think he would go in the first round. Thoughts on Cenac? I am worried he is a bit undersized at center but I love him going to Houston ... and the idea of what that environment could do for a stretch 5.

I really like Cenac's potential. Everyone is looking for that Wemby style unicorn and he and Acuff are kind of this year's version of that. I think in the current NBA he can play the 5, but I also think he has the lateral quickness to stick at the 4. Similar to Sarr. I agree that Houston can do wonders for Cenac's feel for the game and toughness.

Cammo,

Chris Cenac is closer to 6'10 than he is 7'0. Houston measured him last month, 6'9.5 barefoot). He is probably a PF on the next level since he likes to face up and space the floor. He's not a banger at all. Also think Karim Lopez might be too low. I am not even sure he's the 4th best prospect in this draft (he might be 2nd).

I'm sure a bunch of these heights are off by an inch or two one way or the other. I think if Cenac can defend the 5, he likely lives there in the NBA. But, you could be right.

You are that high on Lopez? I haven't seen enough of him yet to have a real take, but I'd be pretty surprised if the top 3 guys in this draft aren't the top 3 at the end of the year. It's early and a lot is possible, but Peterson, Dybansta, and Boozer feel like they are a level above the rest of the class to me.

I like the top 3 a lot and this isn't really a knock on them. While there is separation with the mock folks, Lopez's great play against actual professionals at the same age has made me pause. Guy just looks like a star in the making in the mold of another Luka or Cade type, with the playmaking and scoring with elite wing size. I really think people are underrating his ability to crack that top 3.

I'm intrigued. Have to give him a deeper dive soon.
