Where does Dame end up after all this? I imagine some team will give him a 1+TO or 2+TO deal to see if he's got anything left on the other side of his Achilles rehab, but I'm struggling to figure out who.

I mean if a team would do the full MLE its essentially 1/$30M or so right? Where he gets the first half of his money to rehab this year? But is there a single team with access to that he would sign with?

Maybe I'm more risk adverse than most GMs, but it seems pointless to give Dame a contract right now rather than let him rehab on his own time and try him out once he is close to ready. Who knows if you'll need him a year from now or if he'll even be an nba player a year from now?

I'd love to see Utah sign Lillard to a two year deal. Finally bring him back (to his college) home, let him rehab at his own pace. Have the franchise, the city, the state embrace him. A feel good story that doesn't disrupt this year's tank emphasis on development.

Dame clearly would want a championship. If the Rockets hadn't blown everything that would be a great spot.

What about the wolves? He'd have a clear starting gig next year and a real roster
