I got the eye of a tiger, a fighter
Dancing through the fire cause I'm a champion and you're gonna hear me roar!

You mean

Risin' up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive

So many times, it happens too fast
You trade your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive

It's the eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger

glad to see hes talking about his actual foundational issues too, lateral quickness and balance. not the easiest stuff to improve with drills but being aware is the first step

If the hoop gods are ready to stop punishing hornets fans, they'll let tiddy show some real improvement. Would be a most pleasant surprise.

It's shocking to me that the coaching staff identified this and then also put together a plan to address it. I dare say it seems like actual competency. I am not used to that.

I too am shocked they identified his major weakness and worked on it. Maybe there's hope for this franchise after all.

I was thinking he should just become an **** on the court like Grant Williams, Stewart, Brooks, Green. Just lay the F into people and shove people around with no remorse. Get some physicality in this team

im worried how his bull like dribbling will go in the regular season, but a lot to love in the first summer league game.

can only ask for improvement and he is giving it in spades

His whistle is unbelievable. SGA is jealous.

That was definitely the kind of game we needed to see from him in the Summer League. He still has the same irrational confidence but with slightly more skills to back it up this summer. His body looks to be in great shape. He must be on that moose workout regime.

Honestly, this may be a legitimate path to success for him.

He's so awkward yet determined to attack the rim that he could probably foul out half the other team because they just don't know what to do when he's trying to break someone's ankles.

rewatching the highlights from the Sixers game. His second half of that game especially the 4th quarter was really good. He made several plays in the half that just seemed incomprehensible based on the player we saw last year. Two passes in particular that I just didn't think was in his wheelhouse. One was a half court pass to the corner for an open 3 pointer. And the other was the drive and lob to kalk. He had at least three drive to the rim that not only showed some pretty solid handles and burst to get by his defender but also finished through contact, something that he was not able to do really last year. The highs are high and the lows are still really low. He really is a rollercoaster of a prospect right now. I really don't know how impactful he will be next year or how much he will be in the rotation if we are trying to win, But if the trajectory of his improvement continues into year 3 and 4 he could become a legit option as starter by year 3/4.

could go either way. If he's not able to continue to adjust to the level of competition and speed of regular season and down the road playoffs, then not sure what happens to his career.

At the very least he is showing enough in this summer league to have improved his trade value back from negative to at least neutral.

He is now 19, the age of the guys who just got drafted after their freshman year. I'm not surprised he looks better now!

Hes the same exact age as Kon. They were born 7 days apart.

Yeah, I think it was overlooked somewhat just how young he was when he came over. Basically a kid.
