At everything except passing. He's a gifted passer that sees things before they fully develop.

Looks pretty good to me. Great feel for the game and obviously an elite passer. Active on defense. Shot looks questionable though.

Topic has nice team feel offensively and defensively, and at only 19 has some years to develop from behind the arc. Looks like a solid backup PG.
Hood-Schifino apparently never met a shot he didn’t like. Dude is just chucking out there. I guess they’re giving him the green light…

Because if JHS doesn’t show something this season he’s going to be out of the NBA

He never got a fair shake. He’s right. He needs another 4 years to develop

Bailey starts the game with the worst shot imaginable lol.

Summer league, but Ace is confirming my fears. If it’s not a difficult shot, he just disappears. But plenty of time to learn how to contribute to winning.

C Spencer may already be better than Kennard, and much cheaper. Nice job by the FO there. Wells is gonna be a grinder and GG’s potential is still through the roof. He’s that age of this years rookie class

Disappointed the rookie (Edgecombe) didn't play. Ace Bailey has actually looked pretty decent. What has been surprising is how non aggressive he has been supposedly he wanted his own team but hasn't been assertive much in either game
He should be taking 20+ shots

Ace looks pretty good on the defensive end but their PGs aren't getting him the ball. Hopefully he pans out because the guys drafted by the Jazz in '23 and '24 look shaky especially Collier and Cody Williams.

Ace looking in control, which is nice. He’s still a static offensive player most of the time, though. Defense looks pretty good.
I don’t hate Ace. I hope he just keeps his mouth shut, pays his dues, and learns some team ball skills. It’s clear he thinks he’s better than he actually is, but that’s true for most of the league. Just because his team is rebuilding doesn’t mean he can play like an idiot. He has real potential, it’s up to Utah to get it out of him and Ace to accept the instruction.
Some mild signs of life from Cody, too. He needs even more time, patience and instruction than Ace does.

Ace came around a little bit—taking what the game gave him.
Pretty underwhelmed by WCjr…looks like he needs a more organized system to thrive.

Wow, here’s a (sort of) encouraging stat, at least for Ace:
Utah wins the game despite 25 turnovers (Memphis had 22, to be fair). But Ace had zero. In control.

Jazz need a guard who can get Ace the ball. Hopefully, Will Hardy will get him the looks that John Collins took last year.

Love how much GG cares. Memphis has some great scouts.

I thought he looked good yesterday and he looked decent today but his offense is literally chucking up jumpers or grabbing a rebounding for a dunk. He can’t create, he can’t dribble, and he can’t pass. I feel like he is better and more athletic version of Jabari Smith. Kenyon Martin with a jumper is another comparison.
