Regardless, Bassey will be on some NBA team

Bassey with the 12-10 double-double in 16 minutes.

Alright.
We need Centers, too.

He should not even be in the summer league ...with millions of dollars at stake. He cannot control his weight, why even bother? Boston would be much better off Spreading out those minutes to our overcrowded wing position and play one center.

Tbf, guys like him are often the ones who shine in summer league.

-4 years of NBA experience
-Big, strong. Doesn't do anything except rebound, block shots and make layups/tip-ins which
a) are all easy things to do for a guy of that size and NBA experience level and b) since he's not shooting, passing, handling the ball or anything, there's no way he can mess anything up

He's Kabengele without the 3 ball. Remember how we went gaga over Kabengele at summer league? :)

But SL can be tough for bigs, too.

I remember the Cabin Jelly excitement sure!

But Kabs was coming onto a team with Al, Luke, Griffin, Vonleh there. Bassey actually has a chance to play.

Lofton actually could get on a Two-Way, right?
He's been Out of the NBA for a year.

I think that he only has 2 NBA years.

I'm running behind in this game. But I literally was gonna post a Nesmith comparison. He has a lot of hurky jerky, defensive energy.

Lightyears ahead of A Williams

Because he can catch a ball that falls into his lap and put it into the hoop, with no one around him? :noway:

Ehhh. He's only 22.
Plenty of time to get into a healthy eating plan. (By a Team.)

First look at Hugo, I was impressed
I was expecting him to look more physically overwhelmed, given his age
But he looked pretty good, esp the 5 assists for a wing

NICE Debut

Hal he is a pro, Williams is not. I don’t even think it’s guaranteed that A Williams gets a two way. We will see

There's 30 teams in the NBA. Kabengele has been out of college for 5 years.

6 years x 30 teams = 180 times an NBA team could have signed him and played him rotation mins.

I wouldn't fixate on that 1 season with the Celtics.

Bottom line, just because a guy is big and looks kind of good in SL, that doesn't mean we should go gaga for him.
