I don't think we have to worry about losing our pick.

Not sure who is looking more disappointing - Sarr or Bub. Both have been severely underwhelming. Riley just does not look like an NBA-caliber player. Dillon Brooks looks terrible, too - like rec center level.
Can't say I do. Who else gonna shoot?

Do we get a top Summer League lottery pick if we lose every game?

Sarr never had a chance. He's dependent on the play around him. We're not passing the ball. And we aren't making shots. 6-29 from 3. Basically the entire offseason all these young players worked on their game and wanted to show it off. They need to pass the ball.

FWIW, Kasparas led all Miami scorers with 24, he got his jitters out...

He NEVER moved off the ball at Texas
They need to lock him in the film room Clockwork Orange style and make him watch Rex Chapman, Jeff Malone, and Klay Thompson highlights.

Wish we had Dillon Brooks.

Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?

Tre moves off the ball. The issue is that the Wizards young guys came into this game planning on showing all the new offensive moves they've been working on. Suns played good efficient ball. Players had roles. And they played defense. On the Wizards everyone wants to create. This will be an issue for the entire season. No young player is going to accept the notion that he's not going to be "the guy."

Re: 2025 Summer League
George has been good save for the turnovers. The passing, for the most part, has been abysmal or just M.I.A. Little disappointed in the entire performance, but not going crazy over one SL game. This is why we need professionals like Middelton and CJ to show them the ropes.

Tre doesn’t participate on the defensive end
Absolute flamethrower on offense though. I think he’s scored all of his points in isolation. Tough shots

If/when we get to the other side of the rebuild, the three guys on the roster now that I think will still be here are George, Tre and Bilal
In Rizzo we trust

Re: 2025 Summer League
Was hoping Bub would show some improved burst and speed . IMO he'd really benefit from some kind of martial arts training. Tae Kwon Do or perhaps Kung Fu or Judo. Tae Kwon Do would add power to his legs. Kung Fu would be good for improved fluidity and coordination. He's still kind of awkward and stiff due to how lanky he is. Judo would probably be the best for overall increased power and fluidity.

I think Sarr will be in there as well. His 2nd half was really good. All the talent in the world, just needs to keep getting stronger and eventually play next to a true C.

I said Bub would be there for two games. I think he needs at least 3. You can take Saar out after next game.

Re: 2025 Summer League
Not sure what the deal is with Kadary Richmond, but I'd like to see him getting PT over Leaky Black.
