Jordan by a wide margin. Then I’d probably go LeBron, Jokic, Bird, Dirk. LeBron and Jokic are probably the highest turnover rate guys I’d go in these situations, actually getting s shot up is priority # 1,2, and 3.

If I can get him the ball at the nail, Jokic. Otherwise either Bron or MJ.

Jordan and LeBron.

Jokic, Kareem and Dirk are also great shouts if you can get them the ball.

Not a single mention of Curry, the guy generally considered the greatest shooter in NBA history? To be fair, the OP indicates you don't need a 3.

Another possibility is Gilmore in the low post. Great efficiency and (unlike Shaq, Wilt, etc.) good FT shooter though you have to get him the ball; he isn't going to demand it like the great scorers.

Derives significant value when he doesn't have the ball (post dictates the player having the ball), derives significant value from the 3 point shot being worth more than any other shot (irrelevant in the final possession down 1)

Wouldn't even consider Curry with these parameters

Going to give a shout out for Derrick Rose. He was really good at hitting buzzerbeaters

There needs to be listed facts about how Lebron is clutch. 2016 he was real good but he has fallen on his head in many clutch moments and come up very short at the end of games. Finals against Spurs 07 was awful, worse even in 2011. It is not a great clutch look when his team mate isolates and scores the championship winner (Kyrie) and bails him out after botching it himself (Allen). He was old but it looked consistent his awful attempts end of game and series against Denver a couple years ago.

Can't recall many of the alltime greats coming up so short so often. Would like some facts and references on this.

Rudy Gay. Not even kidding
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.
