Not that the Bengals needed more offense but they're signing former 1st round pick, TE Noah Fant.

He should fill the All Jr role pretty well.

Fant is a solid #2 TE. He's not a great blocker. But is a decent receiving threat if used properly.

The Hawks drafted Elijah Arroyo, the TE out of Miami. They have two young TE's they like a lot (Arroyo & Barner). So, there wasn't much of a role for him based on what he was projected to earn.

Fant has kind of been underwhelming based on where he was drafted. Hasn't lived up to the expectations of being a former 1st round pick. Which is why Denver was willing to include him in the Wilson deal. But he's not a bad player.

I have high expectations for Cincinnati this year. There bad a.s man.

Maybe? That defense has to get much better.

Adding a guy like Fant doesn't move the needle. He's just a guy.

They will. Should. It is my understanding the defense was extremely young last season.

Idk about that.

NT Rankins 30 (back on Texans)
NB Hilton 30 (now on Dolphins)
DE Hubbard 29 (retired)
S Bell 29 (UFA)
DT B. Hill 29
DE Hendrickson 29 (holding-in)
LB Pratt 28 (now on Raiders)
LB Wilson 28
S Stone 25
CB Taylor-Britt 24
CB D. Hill 24 (recovering from torn ACL)

It will probably come down to is Golden's scheme better than Anarumo's was the past 6 seasons.

Surprising that Commanders are screwing around. They got a Pro Bowl QB on a rookie deal. Now is the time to pay the best vets.

Plus they have ambitions of getting into the playoffs again and contending.

Why screw around with one of their best players from last year?

There was a poster many years ago at Sportshoopla, I think his name was Payday. He always used to say and post that no matter how bad things got in Dallas, they were always worse in Washington. " Hail To The Foresk..s.". :D 8-)

Gonna state the obvious here...Jerry Jones is a **** moron. Micah should be paid top dollar at his position, he has been elite year in and year out and been the biggest ambassador for the franchise.

First I agree, Jerry Jones is a moron. Not for this though. Micah is going to get his money and he’s going to be the highest paid non-QB in NFL history. The question is will that be with the Cowboys.

The thing you have to keep in mind is that Micah doesn’t have a whole lot of leverage. The Cowboys can always just Franchise Micah. Any team that wants to trade for him will have to start the bidding at 2 FRP’s. You can pretty much also guarantee that he’s. Or being traded to the Commanders, Eagles, or Giants. Well I don’t know, I’d consider the Giants.

I think he'd want to play for Dan Quinn. But they certainly won't deal him within the division.

The other team that would have strong interest, no doubt, is Seattle with Aden Durde as a strong influence. John Schneider has also never been afraid to make a deal. Honestly, if it ever got to that point (trade talks), I think they would be the favorites to land him.

I imagine there are a handful of teams that would be willing to pay that price for someone in the peak of his career.

I would look at teams that are expected to be bad first (or at least middle of pack). Seattle might actually be good. So if I’m trading him to Seattle I would be asking for 3 FRP’s instead of 2. Houston, Raiders, Browns, Jets, Bears, Saints, Panthers, or Cardinals.

Who wants Micah Parsons? The bidding would start with 2 FRP’s and your best young player (on rookie contract) regardless of position.
