Moves like GA once in a great while, shoots like Bledsoe most the time, finishes like DDV all the time

Thanasis might honestly be a better player than Ajax, I really don’t see much redeeming qualities about Ajax. I’m pretty much ready to cut him loose no matter who replaces him. He’s like a smaller way less skilled Ben Simmons, totally passive and useless

The board isn't going to meltdown when TA is signed. Except for those who meltdown over every move made. 8-)

I feel like the Pacers snap him up the minute that we cut him and turn him into a very useful player in their rotation. Has to be quite the culture shock for him going from the level of coaching that he had in college to where he is at now

His problems stem from the lack of development in college, when he scored just 6 ppg. He had no business being picked where he was.

The ability to keep Giannis happy is probably more value than what any 15th man is producing.

College bball seems to have more structure and system compared to the nba where “play random” is an actual ethos.

Dre was able to catch and make a single, simple read and know where to swing the ball. It’s why people thought he could play PG in the league, because he seemed to make the right pass a lot. But if you watched him take more than 2 dribbles and have to think on the move, he was a disaster a lot even in college.

Only exacerbated in the nba

I'd give Thanasis a lifetime contract.

Anyone hearing anything about some Tyler Herro nonsense? My boss just told me there's rumors. Then I google and in the last few days I'm seeing a ton of writers with mock trades to us. Anything here or just conjecture via boredom?

This is the deadest part of the off-season. They need clicks.

Kuzma to Miami checks out though. Maybe a combination of that and "Herro is open to returning to the mean streets of Milwaukee for a chance at a title next to the Greek Freak".

Unless Pat Riley dies or, to be less morbid, retires and the Heat finally decide to do a true rebuild they won't give up Herro unless its in a deal where they get a better player in return. I think they view him as an All Star caliber player.

We’ll need to check-in on Blazza when it happens.

He wasn’t a great college player either though. Solid defender on a great college team.

It would be great if we then rerouted Herro like we should have with Dame.

Friends are sending facebook links from a "basketball rush" page indicating hero to bucks that includes multiple teams and players but gives zero players or teams involved outside of herro. its an obvious fake but lots of people fall for fake pages.

Blazza is on my favs list around here. hes a huge bucks fan but hes not a homer and i appreciate that. very rare anything doofy is going down and he supports it.....but hes got the thanasis thing wrong. signing thanasis is doofy as hell as a basketball decision but organizationally its the cheapest easiest home run move we could ever make if giannis is your guy and you want him in on calling shots.

if you have a top tier superstar and generational player then they should be able to influence one vet min signing. thats not your guy playing gm....thats paying him what hes worth and it should be a rule with every franchise. hell it shouldnt even be unwritten it should even be contractual he gets a vet min buddy if he wants one.

then if your generational superstar chooses his own brother as a hype man and victory cigar then you got the right superstar

if giannis is your favorite guy on this team then i dont see how thanasis isnt #2. you know giannis feels that way

Generally agree that I won't lose sleep as it being part of doing business with GA and keeping him healthy and motivated. And at times TA has seemed a bit like the Giannis whisper to calm him.

That said, I also don't see why they can't give some kind of Strength and Conditioning title, pay him 500k and still have him be present on the bench. I mean, didn't they have like 14 assistant coaches last year, what's one more?
