The preseason is to watch individual matchups from non established players to see whos gonna make the team. Looking at how units as a whole perform holds almost no value.
Sure it makes you feel better when units perform better but it still holds little value

It is objectively funny to think about all the stories about Lafleur ruling with an iron fist in training camp and being all over them for mental mistakes only to see them come out like a pop warner team. That said, I dont have a molecule of worry from the result of this game. Lafleur teams the last few years seem to have slow starts and then get into a rhythm.
