How many history books do you imagine Trump has read, or any book at all, or even a pamphlet, or a food label? Probably just scanned his own bestsellers looking for mentions of him, contractually obligated to appear every other line and in a complimentary context. Looking forward to the high safety standards of the Middle Passage, the Happy Slave, the myth of lynching, the corrupt terror of Reconstruction, federalization of the Museum of the Bible, a Soviet-inspired American Realism in public art, brand new Confederate statues (why isn't there a statue of Jubal Early?), etc.

The fixation on it though points up to me the idea that the fix is in with Palantir and Peter Thiel and voting machines. If there’s no paper trail they can play games. So long as they keep it a plausibly close win there will be no re counts. Stupid that Trump brings this up every time he has a conversation with Putin. Even on unrelated topics. Maybe he no longer needs Russian hacking. But Trump is Putins pet where JD Vance belongs to Thiel.

For the first time in my life as a DMVer, I want out of the DMV and will possibly live abroad if I can swing it in a year or two, life under Fascism is only going to get increasingly worse, especially in the DMV.
