No faith in IQ.. hes a good player, but don't see him as a winning type of player.. maybe I haven't seen enough. I say keep RJ but get him off the bench for his offense. Start Obaji or Gradey.. tht way The bench mob can get a guy who can score for rhem when we need a bucket. Abaji doesn't need the ball, he shoots 3s and defends. Jakob, sets screens plays defence and can actually rim protect. Leave the rest to BI and Scottie... now if we can get a starting point guard who distributes better..some kind of vet pg.

It is possible that we have multiple teams interested in possibly getting RJ but they are frozen in part by the four RFAs still out there. The Kings for example might want a resolution to the Kuminga situation before pursuing RJ. Also they probably would want to include Saric but he can’t be aggregated in trade until around mid September. The Bulls and Nets were also rumoured teams with unresolved rfa situations. Or they look to combine IQ and RJ for a player making a larger salary but at a lower total number than them combined like Lauri.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Bobby (and Masai) probably wish Joe Dumars was named POBO for the Pelicans sooner. They're probably thinking they would have been able to bamboozle Dumars to take RJ if he was running their team at the deadline.

Im not saying you shouldn't trade IQ but wtf are we doing? We trade him sign long term and he has 1 injury prone season and we need a new PG? Somehow we blew it up and now im at a point where we should blow it up again lmao

The Pelicans didn't have interest in RJ, because they were looking to unload BI's contract. The were not resigning him because they couldn't afford all of the contracts they had, including Zion, Dejounte, CJ, TM3, and Herb coming up for renewal.

So brining RJs contract in made no sense to them. They needed Bruce's expiring contract.

This is accurate, but maybe it should tell us something that a team most people would agree is in the bottom third of the league (and only kind of tanking?) feels they have (at least) 5 players better than RJ.

Will be hard to get something fair for him, id be shocked, that's why it's better to just keep him instead of getting a negative piece back until we can find a desirable trade.

And reached ECF. OG on this Raps team at that price was not worth it (neither is RJ and possibly IQ) but on the Knicks with multiple all-star level players, OG made much more sense, even if it meant overpaying him

I think he's better than Fox. He's a much better shooter and similar size and height/size. IQ is a typical Masai pick. In plain sight but still a hidden gem.

He plays one position. You can't replace a center with a sg. They already have the position filled: they have Poole and Murray
