Just In: The Dallas Mavericks will waive-and-stretch Olivier-Maxence Prosper, league sources told @hoopshype. The former 24th pick of the 2023 NBA Draft is being waived to make room for Dante Exum and duck the second apron. The 23-year-old is expected to draw free agency interest

Just In: The Dallas Mavericks will waive-and-stretch Olivier-Maxence Prosper, league sources told @hoopshype. The former 24th pick of the 2023 NBA Draft is being waived to make room for Dante Exum and duck the second apron. The 23-year-old is expected to draw free agency interest

Yeah, they've been committed to signing Dante Exum for almost 2 months now, and just couldn't get off OMP and his money, I guess. They are VERY close to the hard cap at the 2nd apron, but surprised they couldn't dump his $3m salary with something like $4m in cash, or whatever it takes.
