Hart to the bench confirmed. Who starts? Deuce? Clarkson? Mitch? This sucks. Dude should just go get surgery and come back later in the season.

Ngl, that pic of his finger really pisses me off.

Rationally I know it doesnt matter cause his shot is already fcked. But got dayum, mf looks like he has been catching passes from Favre not trying to dribble and shoot a basketball.

Stupid not to just take care of it now so he can be back when the games matter in good form. This isn't going to be something he will just be able to play through.

Our new coaching group is probably going to be asking a lot less of Hart so not really worried about that. Hart is going to have a trash season without Thibs.

I think we have better balance with Hart coming off the bench. We need the spacing and he needs to fix his finger.

I think its matter.

We complain a lot. But he still is a 34% 3pt shooter.

Can imagine If he gets even worse. It always can get worse. If he stars to shot 20-25% from 3pt and gets even less confidente to shoot always passing open 3s, he can become unplayable .

I wouldn't say that his finger doesn't matter but how will we know if such an inconsistent shooter like Hart is being affected by the injury? His percentages and 3 point attempt rate have been all over the place throughout his career. It is just part of the Josh Hart experience at this point.

id prefer if he had surgery yesterday. we dont "need" him for the start of the season. i dont event care if we get 1st or 4th or whatever seed. all that matter is, that we are on point come playoff time. his finger probably wont determine if hart has a good year or not and hes tough enough to play through it. but he dont need to prove that anymore. we all know hes a tough mofo.

sometimes i just dont get this guy

just get the finger right and shoot thousands of threes as soon as you can. thats literally all he need to do besides staying in shape
im bout dat action boss

Dude should get surgery asap and come back in a few months. He has 1 month right now before the season really starts. Why waste all this "free" time? Dumb.

I imagine if he's not a starter he will get surgery. Pretty sure he was determined to keep the starter's job.

how much do we know about the state of his finger and surgical eligibility? like, he's just coming off a procedure. could there also be a necessary recovery/waiting period before they go back in?

not sure we have enough information to be making judgments about what should be done right now. i do agree it is gruesome to look at.
RIP magnumt

thanks for everything, thibs.

I think it’s overblown, Shawn Marion won a ring with a deformed finger

If this is what Josh does, it's going to be all your fault

If he doesn't want to go caveman on his own finger, maybe he'll just use this injury as an excuse for poking defenders in the eye with it.

Rodman may not actually have been much taller than Hart.
