I had doubts but with the way the season went, and us down 3-1 going into the key innings late, I figured there was a pretty good shot of one more magical moment. I really did actually think about another bat flip moment happening.

Most of my real nerves was about holding the lead. This bullpen has shat the bed often enough that a 1 run lead can't be completely trusted with them.

I doubted him a ton this year. His inconsistency was frustrating but he's been absolute nails in the post-season.

I trashed him a lot also this year. The man delivered when it counted. Will never call him Jeff Coughman ever again.

Kirby, Castillo, Woo are all ace level SP and better than any pitcher we have. And their bullpen is also elite, unlike our collection of dumpster findings.

Bo should hopefully be back.

If not for the managerial incompetence of the Seattle Manager, I don't know how the Jays pull this off. Munoz should have been in instead of Bazardo in the 7th. Just incredible. Springer was nowhere close on outside fastballs and breaking balls. I'm also not sure why they wouldn't just let Woo face Springer; just boneheaded decision that's going to keep the Mariners wondering all off-season.

Actually making the WS kinda overshadows Bautista's bat flip and Edwin's dinger in a play-in game.

On a side note I'd be interested to know the decibel level of Joey Bats bat flip compared to George's tonight

Biggest home run after Joe Carter.. otherwise, no world series

As great as this is, Ed and Atkins should still have been booed, the way commissioners get booed

Atkins should be booed.

Ed giving them that huge payroll is why we are here today - so no need to boo Ed

Definitely, Ed giving them the money to spend big on guys like Barger, Clements, Varsho, Lukes, Straw, Kirk was huge.

Decibel level was louder tonight due to the improved renovations making the fan noise sound louder.

Didn't know that, thanks.

I wasn't at the bat flip game but it was crazy loud I think. My memory of that broadcast seemed louder, like the stadium was shaking. But I imagine you're right

Woo was owning Springer because he injured his knee in Seattle, and springer still recovering.Only fitting that Springers 3 run bomb scored Woos L.O.B.

We had our own managerial incompetence in Game 5. Glad the Mariners provided us the same incompetence in Game 7. I absolutely agree with what you said. I would have stayed with Woo or brought in Munoz. However, the Mariners and their fans deserve the same heartbreak that Jays fans experienced in the 2022 Wild Card Chokejob.

You can second guess everything when it doesn't work out. Woo was getting up to almost 40 pitches. They were probably saving Munoz for a 2 inning save. Munoz wasn't sharp himself anyways and was very fortunate to not allow a run.

To think that he could have come in in game 5, then possibly no need for game 7

3 up 3 down striking out the side to save a 1 run lead in game 7, who would have thought
