Seems like CJ McCollum for FVV + asset would be a good fit. CJ is an absolute pro and great culture guy on an expiring contract and a career 45/40/80 shooter. Rockets also save 25M next year to give them flexibility.

The Rockets also don't have 17/18 shot attrmpts for CJ.

I gotta push back a little. CJ couldn't fix the mess that was the Pelicans, I don't thin anyone could. So I don't really think it's fair to fault him for that.

Largely agree with your main point tho as far as him not being a good fit. He's not and never will be a PG, he's a SG. He would be more akin to the Suns Beal experiment which isn't what the Rockets need or want.

If Holiday is having a good season and Scoot can be back around December, I would consider something built around Holiday for FVV and Reed.

I think "build around" got lost in the shuffle there. I would want 1-2 FRPs included. Get to shave a year off of Holiday's deal and Reed is worth kicking the tires on.

David Griffin specifically asked CJ to be that for the team according to what we heard…. Whatever, you clearly have some weird grudge against him and quite frankly, I’m not that interesting in getting into another hair-splitting contest with you over something this trivial.

Fultz and Elfrid Payton are both available free agents p, I think, and would be upgrades. Spacing still an issue but better than with Amen. Both can defend.

of course not. not saying hes a top option but he should be on an nba team and they don't have alot of choices . its always so weird when older guys just can't find a team because everyone wants to roll the dice on a second rounder roster slot. his stats are still better then most backup pg in the league.

his fg% was better then his last 4 seasons....
