With all due respect, did OP even check what scandals were about, or is he what would we call... and absolute ? I know we cant insult fellow posters, but seriously?

NBA coach being part of fixed poker gig, and NBA inside information leak is a proof NBA lottery is rigged? Some people want to prove lottery is rigged so bad, they just lose any common sense and inteligence. Whenever lottery is rigged or not, these are completely unrelated things, just like McDonalds worker assaulting his neighbour does not prove McDonalds the Brand is major player in organized crime...

These cases is actually a very strong argument of why NBA lottery is not rigged. Betting companies sniff random NBA information leaks, but they wouldn't sniff lottery being rigged? If NBA lottery is rigged, it means there are people who know of its outcome before hand, which means information leak is very likely, which means that it is very likely that such info would reach people who would want to profit from that. In todays world, where Betting agencies enforce such tight protocols to a point FBI arrests players in injury information leak case, in this world, it is very unlikely NBA would risk detroying their reputation by fixing lottery, they just couldn't get away with it, information spreads too fast in todays world.
