Sets up a potential Scherzer game 7 start, so they trust him more than Bieber now?

Nick Schneider giving the start to iKMccaw.

I do hope this is strategic and Bo can still get some PT later in the series

Is Bo going to come in late to pinch hit perhaps or is he not going to play at all today and sort of only play every second game and only for a few bats and then get subbed out?

He’s an elite ground ball guy but allows contact and the Jays can get better contact on balls that most can.

Jays want him hitting as often as possible. His body is extra sore from not playing for near 8 weeks.if need be he will PH if the game dictates it.

Schneider just said that Bo is ready to sub in if necessary today. They just don't want to overwork him

5th highest K rate in baseball this year for a qualified SP, that’s not too much contact.

Listening to his presser right now and it sounds like this was the FO plan all along before the series.

Right decision.

Making him play B2B when he's clearly not 100% is a short-sighted move.

Clement is maybeone of the catalysts of why the bottom of the order has been so dynamic
raf1995 wrote:I just don’t think he has that kind of potential. I think we will regret not trading him for a haul in a few years when he’s a mid-tier starter with nice playmaking and defense and a shaky jumper.

Let’s hope for another big game for Varsho and Barger

Yea not sure it that’s the right move
Roberts should counter and start Kershaw and make it old timers game

8th best ground ball guy also. Don’t get me wrong. He’s great. I just don’t see a ton of nasty out pitches. More so guys watching him paint the corners and not swinging when they should. Our guys will.

Probably says more about how unreliable Bieber has been in the playoffs than faith in Scherzer.

Yammo is interesting hes like a less extreme Snell. Slightly less chase/whiffs (still elite) but slighty less walks (still below average). Him being a righty is better for us tho because we can play Barger and Lukes. He does have reverse splits tho but I trust Barger and Lukes having good at bats against a righty regardless of their splits.
