agreed. i think demanding a certain number of 3's a game, as brown's alluded to, can lead to the chuck and duck. but i doubt that's the actual plan in fine detail

I think what he's asking for is "20 sprays per game" minimum which is more about penetration into the paint that leads out to an open 3, corner preferably. obviously if you drive to the paint and it's open just take it. but if you collapse the defense then spray the ball out

I don't think that's a bad requirement. he's not really saying to take 40 3's a game or anything like that

That was always Brown's plan: Get in the paint.

He wants them to get in the paint with the purpose of spraying out to shooters to get to his high volume of 3s. This is different. We are attacking with aggressiveness looking to score first inside which is what we did for the last few years and it worked

lol huh??? If you get feet in the paint you have to know what’s a good attack and when to kick it out, but you don’t get paint looks and open 3s without deep paint drives and that’s what Brown has asked for is to get into the paint not just drive and kick on every possession
