I could maybe see them keeping Barger in there with Springer down. But man Snell decimates lefties, Varshos HR in game 2 was the first one he gave up to a lefty since Soto was on the Yankees lol

I would take my chances with Barger over Straw any day of the week (regardless of Lefty). Same with Schneider over IKF.

Davis playing is a given i think, hes started against Fried, Rodon, and Snell in game 1. Depends on if hes OF or 2nd Base.

Don't they just return and void prop bets if the player doesn't play?

Sounds like theyjust want people to place action, just in case.

They usually have some sorta insider info, I think Springer wants to be out there desperately. The fact he was even swinging yday was a good sign. Just sucks that we risk losing him for France if he tweaks something again. But with whats on the line tonight if George tells me he can DH he got too.

Usually oblique strains take like 3 weeks to recover from. I don't see them letting him back out there unless it was not as severe as it looked like.

I mean, if he's done-done, then they need to replace him on the roster ASAP. That they're not suggests that there's a resonable chance he's back by Friday at the latest.

Or they're shooting him up and he's fine with risk of doing more damage knowing he'll have 4-5 months to recover.

The bets would be voided yes but it’s not typical to see them list the props so early in the day for a player that is questionable.

My prediction for tonight. Snell has a much better game. Jays struggle to score any runs. Snell lasts 5 or 6 innings.

Dodgers seem to be able to hit yesavage by keying on certain pitches and avoiding splitter. Yesavage lasts at most 3 innings.

Dodgers win 4-1

The next Yamamoto start is pretty much a guaranteed win for the dodgers. Yes he is that good

Dodgers hitting the panic button on their lineup, just like the Mariners did last series.

They're getting worried.

Yeah, the fact he wasn't replaced on the roster yesterday suggests there's still a chance he'll play this week.

He's good but it's not a guaranteed win at all, it will be a second start in less than a week with actual tape of him vs Jays hitters. They will be ready.

If Trey can throw strikes tonight, he should be okay. The Dodgers weren't making much solid contact against him. Nothing but singles in game one and they weren't hit all that hard.

I think tonight will be a battle for Trey, if he can give us something like Bieber and Scherzer did I will gladly take it.

Yeah, I underestimated the Jays and overestimated the Dodgers for sure. I am a Jays fan, this was what I said:

I want Jays to win, I think Dodgers will.

Doesn't mean I'm not a Jays fan. I want em to win, and I think they'll win. The Dodgers bullpen just can't lock in like game 3

You didn't overestimate the Dodgers. But many fans always overlook the fact that small sample sizes in baseball can overturn predictions. Winning in the playoffs isn't about how talented you are overall, it's how well both teams are playing right at that moment in time. In other sports it's easier to predict an outcome because those sports are less streaky and random than baseball. The Jays have played well this season but they haven't played THIS well before this month. Vladdy hit only 23 homers in the regular season, how were we supposed to predict he'd hit 7 this postseason and have one of the hottest postseason runs ever? You can't predict this stuff and this stuff matters a lot.

There are up to 3 games left to go and whatever team pitches and hits better specifically for those games will win. It doesn't mean the losing team is less talented though. It just means they didn't have it in that specific moment in time.

Yes, that happens, but I predicted. I was wrong. If you lose as a better team, you choke. But people hate me for saying this, and everyone says the same thing with no hate. Ridiculous  .

Yes, Jays have locked in this season. Vladdy has cooked, so has the rest of the team. Springer saved us. Everything has clicked and we are going to be elite. You can't successfully predict, but you can still predict, I mean, what's wrong with sharing opinions based off the facts we've seen?

I think the series goes to 7. The Yamamoto game is going to easily go to the Dodgers, so I said this is a MUST WIN game. Jays WOOOOOOOO

He lost 8 games this year, and had another 10 no-decisions. Often against teams that aren't as good as the Blue Jays.

THere are no pitchers in the MLB who can ever guarantee a win. Just stop that.

Exactly. They’re unhittable…until they aren’t. It’s like people have forgotten that less than a week ago Snell was on an absolute roll (40 IP and just 3 ER to go along with 56 K over his previous 6 starts) before we got to him. No reason to think we can’t get at least a couple of runs off Yamamoto on Friday.

Plus we had 2 opportunities with runners on third that we could not capitalize on. One swing could have changed that game.

He was great, but not untouchable.
