Re: Around the NBA (and other Sports), 2025-26, p. II
Knicks enjoyed size advantage over Celtics.
Bucks having 2 bigs in Giannis and Turner giving the Knicks trouble in the 4th.
It's really about size and athletic ability in today's NBA.
Of course talent level makes a big difference, but most teams now are capable of making 3-point shots.
If you have no size and shooting, it's automatic lottery.

Early in the season but Sixers and Bucks looking good.
Knicks and Cavs will be the teams to beat.
The east is wide open, there's no dominant team, so far.

Horford being hunted by every Bucks player.
Price you pay for playing a soon to be 40-year old.

This is crazy atp. Adebayo essentially shut Wemby down AND cooked him, yet, Wemby had a CAREER line for some! Wemby 27/18/6/5/1! Like what??!! HE WAS MEDIOCRE! Bam did all you could against him!!
I know it’s crazy to say he was mediocre, but go look at the game. Bam was sonning him all night. He got 5 blocks and deterred some people from even attempting it, but he was slow to get to shots he’d normally send home, seemed to look stuck in stone when guys attacked him. He was off early.
His meh is DOMINANT! GENERATIONAL!! Wow!!

*I could be wrong on this second point, I can’t remember, but I think he could have dribbled again before the gather. Don’t have to like a rule for it to be legal.

The Spurs have never started 5-0 with Pop. What a scrub coach.

Will always love Al, he definitely gets his number retired here, but it was the absolutely correct decision to let him go.
I do wish we kept Luke (Kornet) tho ...

Agree.
Out of KP, Al, and Luke, Luke is the one who should be kept.
Price was just too high.

I can't begrudge Luke taking the bag with The Spurs though. Probably his last major contract in the NBA and sets up his family's future.

You appear to be right, I Googled it and found out...that The Athletic (via NY Times) published a whole article on that possession.

Bucks look impressive early. Their PG Rollins is bona fide bro and AJ Green is lights out. Doc got them clicking on both ends.

Cavs lost again.
They have the #1 payroll in the league and they're above the 2nd apron.
Jarrett Allen is going to be available.

I catch Lakers games, Reeves has been this good since at least last season, LBJ has just been in his way. When LeBron didn’t play, he would cook.
I hate that it’s the Lakers, but that guy is good.
