Ray. No doubt. Larry had four seasons where he averaged under 30% from three. Never averaged more than three attempts a game. His high 3FG per game was 1.2. Add whatever caveats you want about era, but that's not remotely close to get into the discussion of best shooter of all-time.

JJRedick and Steve Nash can't be treated the same.
What's a shooter who can't get off his shot
Nash, pistol and bird I feel comfortable they can get their shot off vs anyone no help needed.
The others idk
Between those 3 idk bird cause of height?

Bird and I'm choosing based on aesthetics. The greatest shooters need to have a shooting form that is effortless and looks like it, and be able to create shots, not just run through screens. I feel like its Curry then Bird then probably Allen.

I like Nash.

Nobody's close to Curry, though. You could pick lots of guys second.

I've watched a ALOT of Chris Mullin games this year, he's the most entertaining shooter of all-time.

During his regular season career Mullin shot .509 field, .384 threes (2.2 attempts), and if he attempted more he'd probably be over 40%.
In fact the year of his most 3pt attempts (3.7 per game) he made .452, and the year of his 2nd most attempts (3.1) he made .465 but even 3.0 attempts is too little to find a rhythm...

And in the playoffs (71 games) Mullin shot .495 field, .409 threes
Maybe the best off-the-dribble shooter ever, along with Michael Jordan.

Dražen Petrović has to be in the conversation. When he was on a heater, man, watch out. I think Reggie Miller - who is a serious contender for #2 himself - has said more than once (before Curry, mind you) that Petrović was the greatest shooter he had ever seen.

If we are talking about relative to era and factoring in somewhat how good they would be with the modern game/focus.

It would probably be.
Ray Allen
Reggie

If you just said all things were equal.
Durant
Klay

I actually think Durant is underrated in these discussions. He is insanely efficient outside the paint and I think 'shooter' only meaning 3s is not how i see it. 3s have more weight but Durant is an elite 3p shooter combined with a close to GOAT level mid range shooter.

His prime was cut short due to injuries but Mark Price deserves a mention.

Klay destroys everyone else on volume and percentage, is he not? So I'm guessing the only argument against him is playing next to Steph?

It is beyond disingenuous to penalize older players for their lack of volume. Just say you've never seen them play, and move on.

The guy who didn't even bother running around to shoot, just shot it in your eye over and over again no matter what you did. Dirk.

James Harden doesn't seem to have been mentioned yet but probably should be. His percentage might not be great but he is defended more closely than just about everyone else who's been brought up and he can create his own shot which is a defining characteristic of the modern three point shooter revolution in comparison to those of yesteryear.
