So how about now? From now on we can make judgments, deal? If they go on a 5 game winning streak, will it count as the revolution?

you can think whatever you want. and so can i. that's how this works. you can even be hypocritical which is what a lot of you are a lot of the time. what you don't get to do is tell me how i should think.

Who is telling you how to think I'm just asking questions

Can you be hypocritical?

it was not about you specifically. you responded for whatever reason. i don't even know your opinion on this. people here are complaining about other people not having patience. they can can be patient. nothing is stopping them. i won't tell them not to be. but i don't have to be. i can judge what i'm seeing and reach my own conclusions. nobody gets to regulate that as much as they'd like to. if you just want to hear your own opinion go talk to a wall.

i'm not gonna keep talking about this and derailing the thread anymore though. ok. nothing personal.

We are generating plenty of open looks. Almost everyone is missing most of them. That's been an issue. If those shots start falling we're having a different conversation.

Don't mind any of that. That's wishful thinking and cope from a guy that is a known shill for that franchise.

Also, it's only been 5 games. Last season we lost the first 4 out of the first 7 games, including getting blown out by the Celtics on opening night.

We have too much talent and too good of a coach for us to crash.
Brown isn’t who I wanted and I’m not sure how far we can go with him.
But we can still be a very good team, maybe take the East.
I hope we figure it out and wouldn’t mind a trade but nothing big yet. Give Brown and Co. Some time.

Brunson is the leader of this team. We are not going to crash out

I’m not sure the Kat Brunson problem is actually solvable on either end of the floor. You’d figure they be easy to pair together offensively but it’s been bad since we entered 2025. Brown hasn’t really added any actions that make me think they’ll have better synergy this year. Teams just switch the PNR and DHO’s now and towns doesn’t punish the players that guard Brunson. I’m sure the offense will overall get better but might not make it to the levels it needs to if these two get on the same page.

And then Mike Brown did the Thibs thing randomly and had both Josh Hart and Mitchell Robinson on the floor together. You can't put two guys on the floor who can't score at the same time in today's NBA. I'm sure Mike will fix the rotation eventually, but this experimentation hurts in the short term. He did warn us that the first 10 games will tell him who should play so here we are.

Facts I remember seeing Hart and Mitch together a lot and hoping that they’re rebounding would help
My parlay but Hart was pretty useless in the rebounding department last night

Agreed, i specifically remember Shamet and Kat had multiple WIDE OPEN 3s that just didn’t drop so the offense is doing what’s it’s supposed to do

Hart is not "right" right now... mentally or physically. It's either going to take some time to get right or he may get dealt.

We had an incredible skeleton of a roster with Brunson, OG, Randle.

All we really needed was to flesh that out with a starting quality big since Mitch is unreliable and more reliable bench pieces. Instead we went and traded away Randle who is BETTER than Kat and on a better contract as well as divo who had a breakout year with us for KAT.

Then we traded all our pick stash for mikal. Two huge mistakes both on Leon Rose.

Oh well. This is the roster we have now so we have to work with it unless they decide to make more moves
NiceLikeChrist wrote:We are going to deeply regret this. We traded away the best player in the trade and still had to give up a great role player AND a pick?

so many people are going to eat their words about randle

Agreed, that’s a wild take, Breezy. You can’t just blow off Ja’s off the court issues and act like they’re inconsequential like “eh, no big deal, he’s talented”

As a big proponent of chemistry and locker room, bringing in a guy who beefed with two coaching staffs and was dumb enough to twice wave guns on social media would be like taking a wrecking a ball to our locker room…

And that’s even before we consider his severe in ability to space the floor.

He’s such a bad shooter and he’ll drive everyone (or me at least) crazy with his chucking and bad decision-making. He’ll put up big numbers, but I’m glad we moved on from that brand of basketball. Now we only need to get rid of this Clarkson guy.

Clarkson is pure garbage. Has been for most of his career. Chuck and duck no defense playing trash ass bum. I absolutely hated this signing.

Now MB is not NBA head coach. Unless organization is going for no more than 20 wins.
MB is a decent assistant coach. As a "players coach", to run practices.
As a head coach? Inept and obsolete. Lost during 48 minutes of live NBA game.

I think Mike Brown is more a floor raiser type of coach. Not really a ceiling raiser. He's great at being the guy who comes to a dysfunctional team and helps make it adequate. I don't really view him as someone who can elevate a really good playoff team to a contender entirely through coaching/system. But who knows, I'd be glad to be proven wrong on this.

Nah reread my post, I said he does have issues off court but if he can help win a title, is what it is.

We need talent.

& Honestly were overstating his issues. He waved guns on social media….when he was 23 lol. Hes only 26. It really just sounds like we’re being Karen’s about this. His teammates don’t have any issues with him so I don’t get this “wrecking ball” you’re talking about either.

I don’t even fully support the idea to trade for him, just saying it’s interesting. He’s talented as hell and most teams in the NBA would want him let’s not kid ourselves.

i think less teams would be interested than you think. not because of the gun sh*t. he just isn't quite the franchise player he was supposed to be. he seems to have regressed a little. he's probably not a top 10 point guard anymore. he can't be your best player if you expect to win it all.
