NinjaBro why? Why the **** would you say something like this man? You know you're a walking jinx lol smh.

Growing up some of my favorite sports years was Flames and Oilers making it to game 7. This year will still be a fun memory for a lot of Canadian kids.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

I believe in my heart of hearts that it was a swing with home run rizz. Like the ball was going down the middle and even with a majority of the momentum dissipated it still popped pretty high in the sky. We've seen Kirk hit that stance time and time again after hitting a perfect zinger and it looked picture perfect this time. It was destined for the ceiling of the Skydome. I can't imagine how pissed off he is.

Which play are you talking about? On the last play where Kirk broke his bat, he lined out into a double play. Nowhere close to hitting a home run.

Man we need to win next year or the following year. We can't let the Vladdy era be wasted. If we had a slightly better bull pen we would have had this easy.

The battle with Seattle was all for nothing.

I'm primarily a Raps fan, but I can't imagine getting to the finals and getting a kick to the balls.

Physically, though, that means that the momentum was not completely transferred from the bat (and hence the swinger) to the ball. Imagine being hit by a block of ice that shatters versus one that doesn't. What would hurt more?

This is the rizz of Newtonian physics.

It's cool that some Raptors went to game 7 last night, and Zach Edy paid for 20 Grizzlies players and staff to go. Best sports event they ever attended, said Garrett Temple and Brevin Knight of Grizz broadcast team. That's perspective. Heartbreaking loss but in time we'll see what a great Series it was

More of a Raps fan as well, but this was the most likeable team Toronto has ever had.

It made me think back to the 2019 run and how different the personalities are. Loved that 2019 team obviously, but it more a collection of individuals than a group of people committed to one another.

Kawhi obviously was all about himself, but then I remembered Vanvleet, Siakam and Nurse were all heavily pushing their personal brands throughout the playoffs (as if anyone would buy their gear). Just lame people on that Raptors team by comparison.

Pascal wasn't lame.

There were a lot of likeable players on that team - Norm, Kyle, Pascal, Gasol, Ibaka, Green, OG and even Lin who never played.

All those guys played as a group during that run. Kawhi, was obviously one of the exceptions but we needed someone like him at the time. No nonsense, give me the ball type who would get the job done.

Jays 3rd base manager is mad sus lets be real here.. i remember the announcer pointing out in prior game(s) that the 3rd base manager (sorry I'm not baseball guy at all but I understand timing etc) to keep going to proceed to home plate when the runner already advanced from the 2nd base to 3rd on right midfield hit past the 1st basemans mitts.. but the glove absorbed the balls inertia for it to be retrievable to prevent a run a to home plate.. by the time the catcher got the ball, the runner was out by a mile due to being overly aggressive. I was close to posting about the 3rd base manager (one of the most important positions) in real time. Then they do an overcorrection in game 7 and have the guy hugging 3rd base.. someone revisit the amount of errors that was made.

Anyways congrats to the Dodgers obviously.. they're probably my 2nd favorite franchise (Raptors/Lakers and Jays/Dodgers).. but man it's a game of inches and we couldn't capitalize on a plethora of opportunities.

Bingo. He could never pull these stunts in Boston. It ain’t sweet over here either bro.. As Kobe once said… ship his :censored: out!

More of his buffoonery (from actual baseball guys I just saw on Reddit): https://www.reddit.com/r/mlb/comments/1omkg2a/3b_coach_carlos_febles_made_multiple_costly/
3B coach Carlos Febles made multiple costly mistakes this World Series.
Many people are discussing whether IKF should have had a larger lead from third in the 9th inning, and how that falls on the shoulders of the 3B coach to communicate. It opened my eyes to some of the other questionable actions the Blue Jays 3B coach made.

I actually first noticed his actions on the Gimenez RBI double in the 8th. He was spazzing out on the sideline, but not in a communicative way. He was jumping and spazzing and trying some half discernible green light motion that wasn’t timed with the ball landing fair. Seemed more caught up in the emotion of the moment, but no big deal the play worked out.

But then I looked back at game 3. There were 2 costly baserunning outs in the late innings that fell squarely on Febles shoulders. He gave no stop sign to IKF advancing to third in the 9th. He gave no stop sign to Kirk running home in the 10th where he got thrown out by a mile.

I don’t know how much thought went into that positions hiring. I don’t know how much thought goes into the general hiring of any base coach. But it seems like such a heads up job should require your most focused and emotionally detached coach.

Congrats to the Blue Jay's. A class team. Represented their city and Canada very well, in an EPIC World Series 7 Games. Next year, the Blue Jay's will be back again.

Still heartbroken. Feels like we gave this one away. Would have rather we lost in the early innings or in a blowout.
not strong, only aggresive cuz the power ain't directed/ that's why, we are subjected to the will of the oppressive

I dont even follow baseball and im heart-broken. According to the probability, the biggest blunder was the last homerun. Another is the slide. IMO growth is more important than winning.
