Watched highlights of the college debuts of the three talked about 26 prospects. I don't even know why Boozer is in the conversation, Peterson and Dybantsa just look way smoother. Two lucky teams will get them next year, and I would probably take Peterson 1st just from my 1st impressions (never seen either play before).

He plays like he is in complete control at 18 years old, he looks like Shai does in the NBA.

I get special vibes from that guy.

Brooklyn has the most hilarious roster I've ever seen. Thomas and MPJ jacking up 20 shots each to get their 20 ppg. Drafted every foreign point guard in the 2025 draft, and they all stink. Just a silly mess all around.

Claxton has their most assists per game, Mann is second.

He has to get massively stronger in his base. Super tall players have the inherent disadvantage of high hips and center of gravity, so shorter players can push them around and deny them from catching at spots on the floor simply by getting better leverage. Wemby being freakishly tall AND thin exacerbates this issue even more than typical for 7 footers. The reading the defense has to improve too, but until he's not getting jostled around and tossed by every single defender, the playmaking will have struggles because it's hard to make consistently perfect reads/decisions when you're getting knocked off your spot/are consistently off balance every catch.

That Luka trade just gets worse and worse. It's basically the worst sports trade of the 21st century. Lakers sitting at the top of the standings, Luka averaging a 40 point triple double. Mavericks a mess. Anthony Davis has played 14 total games for the team since being acquired as the only real piece, a guy 6 years older than the guy he was traded for, and continuing to break down. I feel so bad for Dallas fans. That was a franchise destroying trade, unlike anything we have seen in a long, long time.

Dennis Schröder's going to get traded again. It's inevitable, but I am not sure what the fans expect when he's in a lineup that has Westbrook, DeRozan and Lavine in it. Oh with Sabonis. No team can sustain all five guys needing to handle the ball to get shots.

Luckily, there are a few teams with PG issues, so he can end up in a much better situation.

We should have kept him. He won’t start here, but he’s needed.

A little pricey for a backup PG, but not terribly so. He remains what he’s always been in the NBA — mediocre starter, very good reserve.

Sengun is awesome, but stat inflation (to some degree) is real... I've been particularly appalled by what is qualifying as an assist nowadays across the league...
