How many years of Nash would you take over Peak Manu Ginobili?

Two completely, and vastly overrated players comparison.

But peak 05 Ginobili wasn't even better than 05 Parker, and that isn't peak Parker. This is an unfair comparison, despite Nash having the GOAT offensive supporting cast, he was still running the offense.

I'll take 04-08, 10-12, over a third option role player anyday. Arguments can be made for 02 & 03 as well.

I’m not really into these sort of threads but feel compelled to say:

Tough question.

What each did in ‘04-05 was unimaginably huge both in having superstar impact and in revolutionizing the NBA.

Truly, you can’t understand modern basketball until you appreciate both on a deep level. Both were drastically underrated by those who came before, and two decades later, many have still not learned the lessons from then despite watching the NBA be transformed in their image.

Not saying many NBA franchises haven’t learned to be clear - else they’d still be trying to play like teams played back then and they have a historically awful record.
