He has some bad fundamentals, I used to watch every Jonas game in the past, and he always light Drummond up, because Drummond would jump after every Jonas pumpfake, even like years into their both careers, you would think everyone at that point would know of those ridiculous Jonas pumpfakes. But Drummond just never learned.

But I think people srart to see Sabonis for what he is, if he is starting for your team, your team wont be very good, if he is a starter, he is not a star, he is a weak link, he should be pkaying 15 minutes off the bench.
15 minutes is a bit hard but totally agree on everything else. I was so happy when we traded him because i knew we couldn't get anywhere with him as a starter.

Best suited to play off the bench when he can abuse lesser talented players.

When he was in VAN and ATL he was just as good as Bosh or Otis Thorp.

Gasol make the playoffs 3 time in a row as first option with Memphis.....

Never won a single playoff game though

You mean just like Kobe without Gasol and Shaq?

If you read general board the most popular empty stats players are Curry, Jokic and LeBron. They are exposed at least once a month.

As for real empty stats guys I would say H. Barnes was the closest I remember for the Mavs. But his production was ok before and after his huge contract we gave him. Fine player, should play for MLE.

Kobe pushed the greateast Suns team ever to a Game 7 with Smush Parker. Brian Cook and Luke Walton in the starting lineup

So what? MJ said he'd pick James Worthy for his all time starting 5 as well.

Mitch Richmond played 2 seasons with Hardaway and Mullin and they played. 500 ball together. That's just not impressive to be surrounded by that level of talent and have such a record.

Then he gets traded to Sacramento and then was essentially was what Bradley Beal was in Washington. Most of his prime was empty.

Only OP considered Shareef a star.

He was a hard working player that gave his team(s) everything he had. Every franchise he played for didn't have what it takes to win at the time. They still do not in the present day.

My cousin was in Vancouver when Shareef was there. Seems like a really cool NBA player. He put up decent all star numbers. Was never over hyped. Wasn't a ball hog. Wasn't a chucker. I don't ever remember him ever complaining or being a prima dona. I don't remember him ever demanding a trade or having contract disputes. I also don't remember him ever playing with a notable teammate.

Maybe he should have requested a trade and be apart of a super team like what Carmelo, KG, Deron, Gasol, Bosh, Dwight, AD, and CP3 did...

Reef was definitely considered a potential star early in his career. Drafted #3 (over Marbury and Allen) as a freshman back before EVERYONE was coming out that early. Very solid rookie year, triple double in the final game. 6th and 4th in the league in PPG his 2nd and 3rd season. In his 4th year, he averaged 20 and 10 back when only a handful of guys did it. I thought he was going to take a leap at one point and become a consistent 25-27 ppg guy but he leveled off and also tailed off relatively quickly. He played 6 games at age 31 and was done.

Hardaway was young at that time. It’s understandable the team hasn’t yet peaked. But Golden State wanted Billy Owens and the rest is history.

Richmond had zero weaknesses on offense. His only flaw was playing on trash Sacramento teams during his prime where his best teammates were Spud Webb, Tisdale or Brian Grant at any given time. The fact he led one of those teams to the playoffs is a testament to his value.
He could have easily one a couple rings if you slot him into the Dumars role on those Pistons teams or put him next to Hakeem on those Rockets teams. I just don’t think people realize how godforsaken those Kings teams were.
