Wiggins+powell+ware +maybe picks works salary wise first bron. I think the lakers consider it, much better fit for Luka/reeves.
Mitchell +herro+jaime+bron+bam
I'm not sure they'd win many games, but it would be fun.
MAYBE i send that package for Giannis. But there's absolutely no way I offer more than wiggins + rozier expiring if/when league gets their shtt together and some future 2nd round picks for Lebron. Dude is retiring or maybe has one more left in the tank if he comes here and loves it and wants to give it another shot. I'm not giving up future assets for a half season rental, as good as lebron still might be.
Ware to me is untouchable. 7ft walmart wemby, shooting 3's, incredibly important on the boards (going to make another post where I touch more on this), on the 2nd year of his rookie contract in current cba. players like that are worth gold. I'd only even consider sending out Ware if it meant getting giannis or ant.
If there was ever a trade suggestion that showed a person was not an actual fan of the Miami Heat. I mean wtf lmao
I wouldn't give up a single thing of value in a LeBron trade. Not even Wiggins, and I've been incredibly loud about thinking he needs to go.
My main concern is this:
https://www.spotrac.com/nba/miami-heat/cap/_/year/2026
Jovic money kicks in at 16M per annum. Herro's last year. Wigginss last year. Davion's last year. JJJ last year.
Norman Powell, Keshad, Simone Fontecchio free agents. Obviously only one of serious concern is Norman.
We COULD keep this team together, Jovic money (16M), along with raises for Herro (2M) and Bam (10M) would eat up all the money vacated by Rozier and Simone expiring. Cap will probably go up so could offer Powell 25-30M. But that's it. Jakunis and whoever we draft would be our 'reinforcements'.
I love this teams growth, but I don't see us winning anything. If Wiggins is the cost of getting us LeBron to increase our odds of making Finals and competing, so be it. It'd also clear out money. Wiggins is not a 30M player.
We are wasting the cheap years of Ware, JJJ, Pelle, Dru and wasting Bam's prime.
If Spo doesn't wanna play Jovic, trade him. I love depth, but not if it means playing JJJ 17 minutes and Ware 26 like we did against the Bucks, depth is just hurting us.
I'm gonna be the only person on this board to want to chase Sabonis, but that's what I'd like to see. We need size. He's a playmaker. He doesn't miss games (70/82/79 last 3). He gives a fck and plays hard. Sure his defense isn't great, but when you're surrounded by bad defensive players like derozan huerter monk, is that really fair? I think he'd fit in really well with our scheme and give us the depth we need at the 4-5 and I'd send Jovic and picks to the Kings, Wiggins to the Lakers and Lakers could send whatever assets we'd get for Wiggins, to the Kings.
We keep waiting and waiting for Luka or Lebron or Ant or Giannis. And it just never happens. We lucked out with Jimmy being a diva and starting trouble to come here (and then leaving). Sabonis is 29 (same timeline as Bam), has a heck of a bag, is mobile, shot 37,38,41% from 3 last three years, really good passer. Career 16/11/5 dude but his most recent 3 seasons hes much closer to a 18-19 pts, 12-13 boards, 7 assist type guy. I think he'd be great with Bam and Ware. We'd have the best front court depth in the league with great size between the 3 of them.
Idk if it would cost us Herro (replace him with Powell), but if we can somehow get him for what I mentioned above...
Wiggins, Jovic, 2 frps, 1 srp... i'd do it... but considering what Bane went for, Kings would probably demand Ware or Herro and it wouldn't happen. But that's what I'd go for. I'm ok being in the minority. A bird in the hand is better than 2 in the bush (those two birds being Ant and Giannis lmao).
