What are trades you all would make if you could only trade among the following players:

Guerschon Yabusele ($5.5m)
Pacome Dadiet ($2.8m)
Jordan Clarkson ($2.3m)
Landry Shamet ($2.3m)
Tyler Kolek ($2.2m)
Ariel Hukporti ($2.0m)
Mohamed Diawara ($1.3m)

Basically, no one would get traded among our 7 best players:

Jalen Brunson
Karl-Anthony Towns
Mikal Bridges
OG Anunoby
Josh Hart
Mitchell Robinson
Miles McBride

Easy answer - YABU - but he can't be traded till December 16th;

Clarkson is worth his 2M and so is Shamet when not injured (I'd keep him to signal to vets who might like us that we stand by our guys. Kolek is the only remaining guy of the bunch who might have any value to another team, but looks like he's improving at a position of need (PG). Best case scenario might be to swap out one of the Frenchies for the next available Clarkson-cheap-vet.

Interesting... I think I'd have to say yes because Giannis is that good. Would need another deadline trade to bring in a solid back-up 3/4/5 type 3&D guy.

have wanted him for years but from what I read he didn't retire because he's happy in LA.

not sure if he's still good but he would be great to have - switchable defender that can make 3s.

Wait...someone thinks trading Yabuty, Shamet AND Deuce for Kyle freekin Anderson is a good idea?

Go get Ayo. Bulls can’t afford him and White after Giddey extension. He can guard bigger guards and hits 3’s. Yabu + Dadiet + 2nd ?

I did NOT suggest Deuce

I specifically said Yabu, Dadiet, and Shamet

Edey is not being traded, he and Cedric Coward will be key in their rebuild.

I think it will be a 3 team trade for Giannis.

OG is def gone tho. If Desmond Bane nets 4 unprotected 1sts then OG nets more. Plus we throw WSH pick + 2026, 31 1st. Kolek, Dadiet. We should have enough without trading Towns.

Something like 6 firsts + 1 protected, Kolek, Dadiet for Giannis and Bucks take back salary matching on their end.

Get it done Leon.

As long as that next vet was a 6'8 2 way forward

There are some plausible Giannis trades that make sense out there. That's the beauty of having a roster heavy up top with talent. That said, working in the Milwaukee media for the past few years, they make one thing pretty clear: Giannis is more than a Buck, he's a Milwaukee mascot, an icon, an institution of the city, an industry in of himself.

It sounds weird, but when it isn't Brewers season, the city really revolves around Giannis. As a resident, I think it's special, it's fun, it's everything RIGHT about rooting for your local team...through thick and thin.

Here's my two cents: it's almost like a reverse situation we were in with Ewing in 2000. Giannis doesn't want more money (he'd get that whenever he wants it). He just doesn't have faith in Bucks management (for good reason). But unlike New York, who wouldn't just give Patrick the money to keep him around as our mascot for a few more years, the Bucks would absolutely just continue to stride on the treadmill with Giannis until he retires...he means that much to the city and the team. For him to be moved, it would take some sort of epic discussion where things go really, really, really south. Would Giannis do that?
