has anyone considered maybe some of these guys are playing deliberately horrible in a focussed attempt to get traded? steve blake did it just a few months ago. wouldn't surprise me at all if bell was.

I don't think the tanking from last year is carrying over to this year. Half the core guys weren't even on the court for most of last season, experiencing losing from the bench is a lot different from experiencing losing from the court.

I just think the team overall has been and still is full of very mentally weak players. There isn't one guy you would look at and say, "he will play hard no matter what the circumstance". Every player up and down the roster has had his heart questioned in some capacity. When you add the fact that we are young and have an unproven coach, it's a recipe for things to snowball pretty quickly.

This team just doesn't respond when slapped in the mouth. They fold. It's because of the type of players on the roster and it needs to be addressed.

Wow GAD is just ripping Kohl for meddling and ripping the likes of Ron Walter.

I don't care how many assignments he missed, this team could use Ruben Patterson for this very reason.

steger asking if the RealGM boys can make some noise. Next thing you hear is a bunch of cheering. Sparky then asks why steger isn't at Fitzgibbons and he says I'm in bed with my wife, I have better things to do.

I'd take Ruben in a heartbeat over any SF currently on the roster.

When players are being excluded on the basis of bogus injury to insure defeats, of course players are exposed to a culture of losing, whether they are on the court or not. They learn that no only is losing to be tolerated, but to be cheered.

But you are correct regarding the nature of some or most of these players, it would appear. But that is reinforced with forced losing, as was experienced last season. A choice was made and it didn't work in several ways.

That was Steger? This is a classic night....fun to listen to those guys down there.....the sad part is that we really can't carry this on that many more games before it gets too hard and too many guys here and there just give up.

Why I had Noah high on my draft list. People say you can't draft for need, but people also say you can't sign players.... somehow or another you've got to get warriors like that on your team.

GAD and the RealGMers taking over Fitzgibbons tonight!

Darn it, I should have gone. I was just so peeved about the game that I wanted to get the heck out of downtown.

I tried my best to give RealGM some love. If it wasn't for having to go into the office tomorrow for a few hours I'd be down there with them. Hopefully you guys could hear me alright.

Back to bed for me now.

adamcz wrote:Everyone says build around Bogut/Yi, and everyone else is untouchable, but there really is no reason Bogut should be untouchable. He isn't an impact player, just a solid role player. There's no reason we have to put him on the trading block and look for a trade, but I sure would consider offers.

If a team wanted to offer a young player who can actually play basketball for Bogut, I'd make the trade in a hurry. Guys from '04 and later that I would trade Bogut for: Howard, Okafor, Deng, Iguodala, Jefferson, Smith, D.Williams, Paul, Bynum, Aldridge, Roy, Gay, Oden, Durant, Horford, Conley. That's 16 players from the last 4 drafts that we could not get for our #1 pick even if we wanted to (and we do want to, trust me).

Can't argue with many of them. But Conley? Guys barely even playing is he?

Every minute that GAD is on the radio ripping Kohl is a minute he isn't making out with the extreme fan of the game.

sportsradio1250.com. You have to sign up but it's free.

Who listened to that guy's trades? Mo, Gadz and a 1st for Wade and Simmons, Bell and a 2nd for Caron Butler.

The people at Fitzgibbons laughed at him.

This is great stuff. Lots of idiots tonight. This show would really suck if the RealGM boys weren't there tonight.
