Depends on what you are looking to do. Long term investment? Probably yes. Sell it now? Probably not (I believe Griffey rookies, assuming you have the right rookie card, is worth more).

i think the big thing you are missing is that back then you didnt have so many different Griffey rookie cards..nowadays you have so many different brands making Lebron James rookie cards.. scarcity is key..
