being too casual letting a 16 pt lead being almost cut down to 7.. had it not for a couple of misses from the 3t line by the Knicks and some rebounds our way, things would have been different..... it shouldn't have resorted to that given our lead throughout the game

after a long ass thread about how Raptor fans only talk negatives even in a win..

you add this to the mix...

:banghead:

You can't possibly be happy with how the Raptors closed the game out. It's not about being negative sometimes. These concerns are legit concerns and if it was even an average opposing team tonight, the Raptors would have been in a while world of trouble.

The Raptors performance tonight would not be able to beat Portlant on Sunday. Especially not on the defensive end. And sometimes these things carry over to the next game.

Sometimes when you win, you actually lose. Whether it be mentally or physically, or whatever.

True. I'm happy about the win, but too often we're not closing out the game on a strong note. We seem to have the uncanny ability of allowing the other team to get back. That can't happen against teams like Portland.

sloppy for raps, very sloppy for knicks. raptors win, that's all that matters. next game raps will have to play a lot smarter.

I think that may have been the fault of Bosh, Humphries, moon, calderon, and Parker. I think people are just too quick to blame Sam.

Solid effort by the Raptors all around. A game they had to win and they did!!!

Bosh had a monster game.

Actually, D-Mart came in and gave us some decent minutes. Obviously, Sam's not happy with Juan's play.

Lots of hustle by Humphries.

Isiah has a mess on his hands. He made it and he's stuck with it.

Its always a mistake to try to force feed a player to get his points (aka career high). At the end of the game the offence stalled because the guys felt compelled to get it to Bosh. It became too predictable and the Knicks negated CB4 towards the end.

BTW, that was big three ball late in the 4th by AP that bumped the lead back up to 14 pts.

If you are happy about beating the Knicks, then good for you. It's good that the Raptors won, but nothing to get overly excited about.

You can only pray to God that this game doesn't carry over to the Portland game.
