Nazr Mohammed

How beneficial would he have been to the Raptors frontline if Colangelo had acquired him?

He's been on a tear lately posting big double doubles for the Bobcats lately. He would definitely help anchor our frontline, and put Bargnani in the bench where he can play more effectively against the opposition's 2nd tier players.

Add to the fact he doesn't look for his own shot, but if his shot is there.. he won't hesitate for the little curl in the lane and the hook shot.

The Bobcats practically stole him from the Pistons..

No they didn't steal from the Pistons. Detroit basically got rid of his contract. He doesn't really fit into the Piston's system anyway. It was a great move by Dumars.

Having said that, Nazr can play. He is good on a team that needs a big guy.

He is a good part of the last two games won for the Cats. I dont think they would give him up for a player worth less, theyd settle for a draft pick and a player for sure, but i could be bet anything that players like Thabeet and Tomic will become better than him.

great pick up for the bobcats, he's been playing huge for them.. but we can't just sit here discussing how good he would look in a raptor uniform.. pointless

he would have been a great pick up for us though

It was an obvious pick-up with him. I was surprised when BC wasn't taking a chance on him while he was buried on Detroit's bench. The guy has been the definition of a hidden gem twice already in his career.

More like Detroit got rid of him with aquiring two bluecoller players who also work hard and plus they got rid of his fat contract. But it is a good deal for the bobcats especially since they lost Sean May for the season and were desperate for a C.
Good Deal for both teams
