Mo Williams took 22 shots and attempted 1 free throw, Deron Williams took 14 shots and attempted 20 free throws.......wow.

I wouldn't have minded as much if they had won at least 1 of the first 2.

yes, that is quite reasonable; but all three home teams are a level above the Bucks (as put together).

I don't think anyone cares nearly as much about the loss as the the how of the loss...

I don't think they're as bad as they show. I guess I do think they're a middling team (.500) that currently shows as bad as their record.

Yea exactly.

What is it going to take for the Bucks to finally get a coach who can actually exploit an opponets weaknesses and play to their strengths on a nightly bases and stick with things that work rather than always reverting to old losing habits game after game.

EDIT: I take that Larry K comment back after some thought,im just frustrated about the game.Larry K needs to do a better job but its not just on him he can only do so much with this roster.

There was no immediate impact player at #6.....the last guy would have been Horford.....I have far less a problem with a rookie then I have with the perimeter players.

fact. Who do you guys want LH to take at that spot? Noah? Brewer?

Half-way point is coming up. If this gets to 10 + games under .500, I'm getting on the tanking bandwagon.

Free Throws tonight:

Bucks 14 - 18
Jazz 30 - 43

That's why you gotta go to Bogut more, to draw the free throws. There's just too much damn jump shooting on this team.

The strength of the better teams is often largely to be able to take away the strengths of the inferior teams. It is all about matchups and adjustments/counteradjustments to minimize the matchup disadvantages. I am positive of one thing in my life that every Buck haed coach knows more about such than a poster, Rilaman.

The Bucks also lack athletic slashers who can attack the basket..

Yi is going to be great just give the dude some time.

If the Bucks are smart the Bucks will be making noise in a couple years behind a 2-headed monster of Bogut & Yi.

definitely...He's a lucrative player in terms of business opportunities and he has the smoothest jump shot on the team. He can rebound and block shots. His going to the basket right now is rather suspect, but once he gets that finishing strength, he will be much more effective.

I don't think you could keep going to Bogut because after Bogut hit 20, the Jazz figured out how to take that play away by having Deron double down on him versus one of the forwards like Harping. Unlike the Suns game, here you could easily see the adjustment that Utah made. And it was effective.

The problem was that then Mo and Redd needed to step up and make some smart plays. Instead they chucked....and not just normal chucks....high degree of difficulty chucks....even Simmons got in on it.

Add in a dose of Mo thinking Jazz picks being set on him were kryptonite and it was all over.

great point. The bucks need a young, athletic SF...simmons can come off the bench, but he makes too much money to be coming off the bench. D Mase, it's been a great reunion tour, but you're old and cowboy hook isn't falling like it was in November.

you are wrong PP...let Deron Williams double down, then you kick out, swing one more pass, then actually shoot and open standing jump shot like you did earlier in the game...its called inside out basketball, smart teams do that.

But you keep giving or at least try to get the ball to Bogut down low and when that double comes he can kick it out to the shooters for high % shots.

Thats one of the advantages of having a center than score and command a double team.

Rather than Bogut not touching the ball at all and having everyone else ignore him and go 1 on 1 which is basically what he saw in the 4th qtr tonight.

So are you saying you dont even let Bogut touch the ball, cause I think that was the issue here.

No...you do keep playing to Bogut....but Bogut has to be in on what to do.......he's got to kick out FAST before it gets stripped, because he was getting stripped a lot there. I was only commenting that the Bogut "windup" move on offense that he was successful with wasn't working anymore and had to be changed in some form.

I'm blaming the guards....you guys are adding a dose of blame to the coaches....I can live with that. Bottom line is Mo and Redd had a chance to keep us in this game but those guys just aren't smart players.....nor athletic enough....
