Funny and true.

And the Celtics finally lost 2 in a row. Life is good at least for tonight. Well except for that whole Bynum injury thing.

Kobe has not had to work so hard all season to carry this team. This should confirm that Bynum makes things easier for Kobe just as much as Kobe make things easier for Bynum. Bynum plays wll with whomever is on the floor with him.

lets hope the phoenix-clippers game tomorrow goes into ot because it wont really count as a back to back when the suns play the lakers b/c the suns wont have to travel anywhere.

and maybe if we're really lucky the clippers can squeak out a win like they almost did against dallas.

Yeah, but that's an indirect effect. Bynum lessens the load on Kobe because he does his role well. Just like Odom would have lessened the load on Kobe if he does his role. You could say that with any player.

Without a doubt, Bynum has become the 2nd most important player on our team. It's not a profound observation to say that Kobe's job becomes much harder playing without a decent big man.

On the other hand, Kobe directly makes the game easier for Bynum. Drawing defenders away from Bynum, throwing him lobs or other passes in scoring position, etc. He sets the table up for Bynum, because as of yet, Bynum doesn't really have a consistent go-to move.

Tonight shows we miss Bynum a lot, but it also shows that we don't have any reliable good big men either. If we had any one of Seattle's big men like Collison, Wilcox, or Thomas, we wouldn't have to rely so much on Kobe to generate our entire offense for us.

Great win.
We had no business winning on the road being outrebounded so badly, but we still pulled it out. Sign of a good team.
We got into a shootout with Seatle which I don't think will serve us right going forward. I think the way we will have some success without Bynum is by really slowing it down and playing better defense.
Ridenhour killed us tonight with his penetration and dishes. Our bigs (what's left of them) also have to do a better job hitting the boards. They made Collison look like an All-Star.
Let's go get PJ Brown.

Now whats scary is that there's only a 6.5 game difference between the 1st and 10th seeds. One bad week and everything could change on its head. The west is one scary good conference.

Big time game by Kobe, coming through in the clutch like that.

Next up: Phoenix. I think we have to give Kwame, Odom touches in the post early. Get their confidence up.

Sounds like Lamar was just trash tonight on the offensive end.
