It should be pretty high IMO, his versatility fits perfectly with the Warriors system and IMO is their most consistent long range shooter. Not to mention he's a high character guy (always smiling) and is a big part of the Warriors chemistry.

I'd seriously kill for him on the Rockets.

It's not super high, but it's good to very good. Not an awful contract, pretty good supportive player, but is kind of hard to project out to any position on any other roster in the league. Is he a SF? Is he a PF? Is he a C? He doesn't even really know.

I'd say it's probably close to an Andre Miller.

GS fan's take on Al:

We probably value him higher than most people simply because of the fact that we have a VERY shallow big man rotation. Al's not perfect, but right now he's the only real option we have at PF (Wright? Barnes? Croshere?). So if we deal him we ABSOLUTELY need to get a big man in return.

The only way I see him getting dealt honestly is if we're using him as salary filler in a bigger deal for a Gasol type player. Otherwise, his value to us is higher than his value to most teams. Of course, this could all change if we manage to land a legit PF (Wilcox )

Just curious NewBeginnings, what is the deal that you're trying to create?

2 approaches for the Warriors;
Run Biedrins at a solid big man

OR

Put in Al at the center and destroy them from the outside. Al (though he's sometimes on the back of a milk cartoon) is crucial to the Warriors.

well, i wasn't necessarily proposing a trade, but if it was going to go down, the only piece we have to draw value would be Hedo and we'd only have expirings to tag on...which, regardless of fan value should be fairly sufficient...but, at the same time, you cant put a price on fit and production sometimes...not to mention is GSW really looking for another SF?

i was just saying, that would be sick...

Hedo would work well under Nellie, but this would make GSW even thinner.

Harrington is a bit of a tweener but a good all around player. I wouldn't bother to get him for Philly - you guys should be building around Iggy and getting good value for Miller.

I'd trade Al and Pietrus for Hedo and Arroyo if we could get a big man to plug in at backup PF/C....Chris Wilcox for the TPE?

No way Seattle does Wilcox straight up for the TPE...we'd likely have to give them a young guy like Belinelli and/or a pick as well.

And regardless, I'd rather keep Al than trade him for Hedo. He's a better fit for us off the bench or as a starter.

I'd rather have Al than Hedo. I would not do that deal with Orlando.

The only reason Hedo has higher production than Harrington is because he plays 10 more minutes per game (27 mpg to 37 mpg).

Al is actually shooting the ball better than Hedo (46% FG, 40.6% 3FG).

You could have Stromile Swift for Arroyo/Bogans.

How would that work? We'd have Arroyo and Orlando would still have Bogans.

3 way.

Arroyo, Bogans, Pietrus to Memphis

Hedo/Warrick to GS

Al/Swift to Orlando
