Well, that's what is great about this game...games like this and the Toronto game will help Aldridge grow :)

Seriously, fellow Blazer fans. Stop whining about the refs.

Whine about our lack of interior defense. Or the fact that we actually are leaning into players on our screens.

Boston is the better team and they are answering every call. Blazers putting up a good effort nonetheless.

I still don't think the refs have been bad in this game, the Celtics are just simply a better team than us right now. It's disappointing to lose, but we're still young and improving, and games like these will be good for the learning experience. It's just that now, we're able to win a little more consistently against slightly weaker teams.

And listerine, I dont think we really deserve to win this anyways.. our interior defense, as you said, was awful... But the officiating tonight has been blatant

I know that will get edited, but someone who comes into this forum to be a little punk is exactly that.. KG must be your idol

It is unnecessary to respond to trolls, especially by using profanity. Don't do it again

You've been called for 3 more fouls than the Celtics, tho the C's have taken 11 more Free Throws than you (even though the C's are shooting 59% for the FT) but the main stat you should worry about is the turnovers which Blazers have 21 of, to Celtic's 10..Refs have been on the C's side a bit(they are home, what did you expect?) but they are not the reason they're winning...you have a nice team, Aldridge is a lot better than what i thought he was but he isn't much of an interior players(That's why Oden will help ALOT)..

I do not know what to say. I mean yes the refs have been HORRIBLE but the Blazers have let KG and Refs get them out of there game. Also i will give credit to the Celtics Defense. This reminds me of the Utah loss where Portland got pushed around and whined about it to the refs or at very least always glaring at the refs.

On a different note i will say this and i KNOW for a fact i will get ripped for saying this. If Webster cannot be more aggressive and start averaging 12 to 14 points a game then i think KP should consider trading him.

Meh, the blazers came out flat. I'm surprised they even were in it in the last few minutes. All the credit should go to Boston's D.

I've lost a lot of respect for Garnett. He played with more class in Minnesota. At least Boston won't have to work very hard for a title.

The refs aren't the reason we're losing. Our lack of aggressiveness is the reason we're losing.

It doesn't hurt the celtics' cause when the refs called a turnover on the blazers whenever they gained any momentum down the stretch.

As bad as this team played tonight, and as bad as the officiating was, im pretty impressed that they hung into that game all night despite all of that... I can take this loss.. I hate those officials, and I hate Kevin Garnett, but we played awful, and were still in it till the end

We cant win them all.. Regroup and win it on Friday

Seems like we were playing like a dear in headlights and we went away from the team basketball concept. I guess that's a typical growing pain of a young team. Let's hope we make amends by beating up on Miami!
