His shoot everything or don't shoot anything is BS. He does need to be more a part of the ryhthm of the offense without having to dominate the ball consistently.

He was his best in the 4th tonight when being aggressive but also looking for teamates.

He was throwing good passes. He was active in the offense in the third quarter, it's just nobody was making any shots. Only Kobe, Turiaf, Farmar and Sasha approached anything close to 50% shooting

No question. Plus Phil's rotations and Kobe refusing to look to shoot at all in the 3rd Q all made this clear that this game was meant to be a lesson to the team. I hope they learned something.

I love the little mind games between those two. Jackson chides him for shooting too much, Kobe responds as only he can. Classic.

Overall, at least we bounced back and made a game of it. There are no moral victories in professional sports, but there might be something we can glean from this.

he actually kept getting fed in the post time and time again.

But he was clearly ONLY looking to pass in the 3rd....come on. He didn't really play an all around team game until after the bench, led by Sasha, gave us a glimmer of hope.

I agree...Fisher sucked, but he gets a pass. We're not gonna see that tomorrow unlike the biggest bust in NBA History aside from Michael Jordan (6 NBA Titles? Pathetic...)...

Yep. And I think we learned - start Turiaf (or at least get him in ASAP) and probably Ariza plus keep Java on the bench.

To be fair to Kwame he really hasn't been able to string together a solid "injury-free" month of basketball for a whole year. The guy has been injured since last January. He wasn't even 100% recovered from his summer surgeries when he got injured again in November. His explosiveness is noticeably diminished from where it should be. Give him another few weeks before we really banish him from the roster.

Another positive note is that we saw the LO we're going to see in the playoffs tonight. His shot may not be falling but the guy leaves everything on the floor in the important games. It'll be great come playoff time to have him as our 3rd option behind Kobe and Bynum.

Now I'm going to go run and hide.

Damn, is there a trade back clause on Kwame's contract? I'd like Caron back please....
