Well, this is disappointing. Injuries are starting to pile up just like last season, at the same time no less. We can't really afford any more at this point, especially to any of the starters who will now have to play increased minutes.
Ariza's been a nice contributor since coming on board, so hopefully this doesn't keep him out too long. Everyone is going to have to pick it up a notch, particularly Walton and Kwame.

It seems like a perfect fit in terms of what the Lakers and Sonics are trying to achieve. Lakers need to stay competetive while waiting for Bynum and Ariza to come back. Sonics need to shed salary and stockpile young players/picks. I would guess a Brown/Critt for Thomas/Wilkins/2nd or a Brown/Sasha/1st for Thomas/Wilkins/2nd should work for both clubs. The sooner the better for the Lakers.

tanking is dumb especially for this team. You can want to tank and have fun with that. Not me, not Kobe, Not Phil and not the Lakers.
Oh wait... i guess the Lakers , Kobe and co. are delusional too.
Sometimes in life, you have to make difficult decisions for the sake of the future. Sometimes, you have to make major sacrifices because it will mean you will have a much better tomorrow. Tanking is a major sacrifice but if it means we will be a odds on favorite for championship next year, then it is worth it. And as for Lakers haven't given up and are fighting hard to get through rough times, you might want to open your eyes and take a good look at what Kwame Brown, Luke Walton and Lamar Odom are doing. Last I checked, they are not giving it their 100% out there.

and sometimes you have people who have limited knowledge of the NBA and competitors like Kobe , Fisher and Phil.
Oh and you think if we tank we are the odds on favorite to win the championship next year? Have you seen the bad teams in this league? They have something to say about those top 3 picks.

when I say the players/laksers that havent given up I am talking about the likes of Kobe Bryant, Phil Jackson, Derek Fisher, Jordan Farmar, Ronny Turiaf.... plus , while LO and LW might not be playing their best they havent given up either. As bad as Kwame is, he hasnt give up either. There is not a player or coach or FO memeber that has "given up". I am with them.
Cheers.
