The spurs are so boring and emotionless -- I want to punch Manu and Duncan in the face -- do they know how to smile or laugh?

anyway.. Lakers win this game easily if half their roster wasnt injured.. I just hope they can make the playoffs with Bynum and Ariza out.. top 10 in the West is very balanced.

Ronny did a solid job. I'm not usually one to second-guess coaches, but I have to wonder why Phil waited until the fourth quarter, when the game was already out of hand, to get him on the court. Probably had something to do with not wanting to bruise Kwame's fragile psyche by benching him.

Defense was horrific, teamwork completely disappeared (thanks, Kobe) and most of our starters decided to take the night off. Not a good formula on the home court of the defending champions.

Yes Kobe played horrible late game (9 turnovers), but to say our teamwork disappeared because of him? Did you watch the 3rd Quarter? He did what he did because no one was making anything? Again every point in the 3rd was made by Kobe except for the Fisher shot which happened to be an assist from Kobe. Kobe facillitating was the reason Lakers were so fluid early on. You rewatch the 3rd quarter and watch every possession that Kobe didn't touch the ball. It resulted in either a miss or a turnover.

That was a terrible 2nd half. Kobe was forced into some tough shots. He also turned the ball over. But I thought the game was lost when Phil Jackson kept a lineup of Fish, Walton, Odom, and Kwame out there.

Clearly the three guys who play very well off Kobe were Farmar, Turiaf, and Sasha. By the end of the third, we were down by 10, and never could overcome that lead.

Phil Jackson should have called timeout, get those players in quickly, and we can get back to Kobe drawing defenses in, kicking the ball out and feeding Turiaf for the open jams.

It was really annoying to hear Jon Barry talk about Kobe. Really, Jon, it's that inexplicable why Kobe tried to force the action? Look at the players on the floor. They're different from those who were playing well with Kobe in the first half. Not exactly brain science.

Oh, and why didn't we switch Kobe on Udoka earlier?

I figured we would with Tony Parker and Duncan in the line up.

I miss Andrew Bynum.

This was completely inexcusable.

I don't expect Lamar to come out and give us 20 every night because he's simply not capable of doing it. He doesn't have the game, he doesn't have the mentality.

But when he's matched up against a player like Finley, I do expect him to be able to exploit it. Lamar never put himself in position to do so, and that was one of the many reasons we lost this game.

He showed a complete lack of poise tonight.

Odom must have had 2 or 3offensive fouls. Odom must have more off fouls then def this season. These refs have something against Odom, because they sure don't look like fouls to me. It's like you know the refs will be calling 2 or 3 off fouls on Lamar, that hurts more because it is change of position.

Odom>Refs

Why can't we make simple post entry passes. Finley is fronting Lamar. Just pass it over the top

Our post entry passing ability looked like Elementary kids out there

Laks need to go back by letting Kobe catch the ball in the post, that's his most effective spot to spot cutters or score.
