Is there any word on if Carmelo is playing tomorrow?

We simply can't afford to lose another game. Not with the easy schedule that Utah and Portland have coming up.

Yeah I agree. I don't want Melo at 80% for the rest of the season. Or have him miss another big line of games. Let Portland and Utah fight around for a bit for the top. We aren't in real danger yet. It's barely mid-season.

We're in the West where 6 games separate 9th from first. WE`RE IN DANGER!

We're only a half game out of first place in the Northwest and the season is barely half over. We're not desperate for wins.

It's not worth risking further injury if he's not completely ready to go.

exactly.
too many people here follow game to game and don't seem to have the bigger picture in mind.

bigger picture? We have Portland, Utah, and Washington coming up. You see the next 6 games for Portland and Utah? Any type of losing streak can decide the playoff race. Portland is only getting better, Utah is only getting better, and even GSW is only getting better. We can't rely on just winning the division because Portland and Utah are good teams. We have to start winning now AT ALL COST or there won't be a bigger picture.

A.I. is gonna lead us? Yea, he`s been great in Melo's absence. Camby is now hurt too. A 80% Melo will do.

LOL.....this comment doesn't make sense. We're still just 6 games out of first place more than halfway through the season, even with all that has happened, and that means we're in danger? I think that is an extreme positive.....considering at this point last season we were 22-21, six games back of Utah in the division, and 14 games back of first place.

The West is extremely balanced this year. So much so that in a matter of about two hours we moved from the 4th seed to 9th place. We could go on a five game winning streak right now and possibly move up into the top 4-5 record wise. There isn't much to worry about right now, except getting healthy. Thats far and away the most important thing.

I agree. Lets risk our playoff chances and wait for everyone to get healthy, while portland, utah and gsw get ahead of us.

What....that you can go half the season with half your team injured and still only be six games away from leading the **** conference?

If Melo is healthy enough to play, he will play. If his ankle isn't ready for him to lay it all on the line... he won't and shouldn't.

I can hear you all now if he plays...**** Melo, can't make a shot to save his *** and goes 2 for 19...he's got no heart...etc... why should he make his ankle worse if it's not ready? they are 26-18 only one-half game out of 1st place in the division. I hope he can go, but honestly, we should win the Memphis game without him, and if not, so, you have to get everyone healthy and on the same page to try to make a run.... Even the great Spurs are having injury problems... Calm down and let Melo get healthy.

Memphis tonight....2 days off, then Charlotte at home on Saturday...as far as I am concerned, take the next 2 games off and be 100% for Portland...the team needs to find a way to win the next 2 without Melo and develop some confidence from the role players and give them some run they need.
