you can always do a 3 way trade.
maybe orlando with redick going to seattle.
miami's struggling to score (and jr lit them up for 36 awhile back)...cook & a protected pick to seattle, or maybe just dorell wright.
send jr to his hometown of new jersey for wright or williams.

I guess I'm to big of a JR smith fan to let him walk for jsut west. He's still young and is far more talented than west. Anyway JR is my 2nd Favorite player right behind Melo and ahead of AI. I Would rather keep JR but that might be homerism either way the only way I would trade JR would be for kidd.
EFIT: I might not even trade him for kidd I guess your glad i'm not the Owner or GM!

I love him, but he's on his way out.

I would trade jr while we can still get something for him, karl is holding his devolpement back, he will be better off somewhere else with a coach willing to give him that chance to learn through mistakes.
I'll hate to see him go too cause we all know he has potential but with karl here he just won't succeed.
With all that said i'll love to have west on this squad so atleast we won't be short in the backcourt, west for jr straight up or yakhouba for west,i'll do either trade.

^Exactly.
The best the Nuggets can do is either send a future first rounder or swap first rounders with Seattle's 2nd first rounder (Phoenix's pick).
That said, Im not for sending out a first rounder for Delonte West. West isn't in Seattle's long term plans and the Nuggets would be practically giving away a first rounder for a player they could target in the offseason, if they are really interested. Granted he provides some depth for the postseason and obviously obtaining him now gives the Nuggets his bird rights for next year but, unless Seattle sends back their pick (not likely) or Phoenix's pick , I rather pass. Why break the bank on a player who is practically in the same situation as the one we are trying to part with.

Figured Ild use Caps since everyone seems to not realize this or forgets that we moved our pick last year, so we have to actually draft this one.
Why not we have all of our future picks that I am aware of? The trading two 1sts in a row are only in regards to future firsts, not what happened last year.

as long as we have our 2009 draft pick, we can trade this for whoever and to whoever we like. and then after the draft...we can trade the 2009 for whoever and to whoever.
that rule only applies to trading consecutive future picks.
