Pure Salary Dump
I'm a raps fan, but just wanted to know what you guys thought of this trade
To Orl:
Szerbiak, Delonte
for
JJ, Dooling, Garrity, and Arroyo, draft picks a 1st and 2nd.
SEA gets all expiring contracts, plus JJ
Orl gets good SG, plus a solid combo off the bench who stated his desire to leave.
Or maybe just Delonte straight up for JJ
I can't believe how much sense this makes

You guys need a PF?
Maurice Williams is your SG...I thought Shard is your PF
Delonte is a WHOLE LOT better than dooling. plus dooling is one of the biggest ball hogs i've seen.

Joe Smith, anyone?
He's quietly having a very solid season in Chicago. Unfortunately, the Bulls are going nowhere and the youth movement should be starting any day now (should have already started, but that's another matter).
Would the Magic consider expirings (perhaps Garrity + Augustine) and either their late rd 1 or possibly the rights to Vazquez?
I don't see the Bulls' front office going out of their way to move him, as he'll be a valuable expiring contract for potential trades this coming offseason, but if a contending team presented enough value in return it would certainly make sense to pull the trigger.
Thoughts?

Joe Smith is exactly the kind of player a playoff team trades for. Chicago will look to dump salary, and they would be interested in expiring deals.
Both Smith and Adrian Griffin have a year left on their deals. Trade for Arroyo and Garrity, both expiring, is something the Bulls would have to consider. Not sure what the Magic do with Griffin. But, that a price to make such a deal work.
Of course the player the Bulls would most want to dump is Ben Wallace. For Garrity, Arroyo, Dooling, and Battie, he could be had.
But Smith makes more sense.

This is far more thought out than the original trade. We need a big and Joe Smith is pretty solid overall.
The original trade is terrible. The last thing we need is those two players. Dooling is actually pretty legit and we have no need for West. Wally, we don't need any more shooters. That trade gives the Magic nothing they need.
